That's pretty cool but yet a trip. I bet you all the other planets are high-tech!
You guys do know this is OLD NEWS right? They've known about other planets orbiting stars roughly the same size as our sun, and planets roughly the same size as ours for a while now, years actually. But yeah, more than likely, MAYBE will have other life forms. 5 things will happen. 1. Planets are too young, and will die out before a civilization will form. 2. Sun is too strong or weak for life to be established. 3. Civilized life won't make contact because they are too far away. 4. We'll kill off each other before civilized life can make contact. 5. They'll kill themselves off before they will make contact. There's actually more reasons why we probably won't know about life on other planets for a very long time, even never. More reason of why we won't rather than when we'll make contact. This is all based of a cosmology class I took 2-3 years ago. They'd known about similar 'Earth' planets for a while then.
