Been lurking for a while

What's up VSC crew. The name's Chris and I live in upstate NY (Albany is not upstate for those who don't know :laugh:). 
 
I used to be in the tuner scene with all the compacts (mostly a mitsubishi guy), but had a family and been looking into a more 'upscale' type of setting that differentiates myself from my former 'boy racer' times. Used to own a 93 Dodge stealth with chameleon paint, then a 96 Nissan sentra back in Jersey.
 
At anyrate, currently I drive a 98 Ford Windstar (had to get rid of the sentra for the family and the wife wanted something more practical) and thought about doing some things to it. After thinking about it for a few months, I figured I'd wait a while and get her an Odyssey to suit her needs. 
 
While not totally new to the VIP theme/style (my brother had a white '99 Chrysler Cirrus with 19s, 2" drop in front and 1.5" in the rear, 1g Neon spoiler, custom crystal clears, 2 tvs, and suede interior work)) I'm here to learn more about the traditional as well as the not-so-traditional aspects of the scene and become a part of it.
 
Sorry, no pics of the Windstar so there won't be any joke-cracking going on :laugh:
 
 
P.S. what's the difference between 'tucked' wheels and flush. Around here, the few people I know who are enthusiasts use that term though all of theirs look the same 'tucked'.

They are two terms with different meanings in my opinion. Tucked is when the wheel is under the fender while Flush meaning the wheel lines up with the fender. I prefer a FLUSH look more than a tucked look. However, there are some sweet 2nd Gen GS that have their rears tucking and their fronts flush. Sorry I hope I didn't confuse you. I'll try to get one of the HELLAFLUSH.com guys on here.

WOW. I didn't know that there was such a difference between tucked and flush. This brings up another question tho, do you necessarily need staggered wheels for that look, or are spacers common as well? I'm quite curious because I'd like to give a rather flush look on even stock vehicle with rims- or at least advise some of my spo-com friends that it might be a good idea to start there if they really want their ride(s) to stand out.
