looking for rims and tires....

as soon as my tires are worn out... (another 5k or so miles) i think i'll be shopping for rims.... nothing too crazy.. no staggered set up..... looking for 19in wheels... 2-3inch lip..... and the tire diameter to be the same diameter or close to the factory diameter... suggestions? link?..... nothing too pricey now... =] 

oh.. i drive a smoky granite(grey) 07ES350 btw... no clue what my offset is..... what offset i should be looking for... im just kind of annoied driving around on stock wheels... esp when i go to lexus meets and everyone has great looking wheels.

first id try to see what offset you need for your car. Offset I think is a huge factor in picking wheels. from there you can decide how wide you want to get, because depending on your offset you can go with wider and smaller rims which also will effect what size tires you get. ES i think are front wheel drive, correct? anyways, Id just start seaching on google images or forums and see what kind of wheels other people have, and then see what styles you like I.E- mesh, solid face, deep dish, etc. try some of the sites that sell used japanese wheels. You might be able to find a nice set with a good offset.

First off, start off with looking for suspension for your car, before you start looking for wheels. A dropped car will always look better than a car with wheels that's super high stock. 

Once you get your suspension dialed in, you'll realize you can actually fit lower offset or wider wheels. 

If you buy your wheels first, that sit flush with your stock height, they'll be sunken in when you drop the car. 

Only a couple members have/had the previous generation ES, one of those would be Charley240sx, the other would be Gato. 

Either they will chime in, or you can PM them for some help with the ES.

working on suspension now... custom coil overs soon i hope.. in the talking process of having those created... rims are up next.. =]

I know you are looking for some LIP action but I have seen some really well executed older ES's running more a full faced wheel setup. Might be something to look into cause then you can really work on your stance. If you are going to go with a dish style wheel, you better go deep.

deep dish's are sexy but aren't really necessary for the vip look. get your fitment and stance correct. trust when i say that you don't want to go with factory specs when you buy wheels. go wider with lower offsets. btw, i saw you at that meet, i was the dude that thought you were tryingto buy my Leon Hardiritts. good luck bro.

ahah i remember you!.... i working up on coil over right now.. dont know when they'll be ready.... after that... save up some more cash... and get some nice rims!... =P....
