Do you think a Ford can be VIP????

Well since this is a vip style fourm I thought I can contribute my non platform soon to be VIP ford..:smiley-rofl::smiley-rofl:
 
I just traded in my Lexus Lx470 for a 2008 Ford Expedition EL Eddie Bauer 4WD...:pat: more payments....yikes....
 
This is not just the regular size expedition it is the EL version E X T R A   L O N G....=)
 
I think I am going to VIP style the hell out of it with some fusa,gitsuna, curtains neck pads ...man I will surely turn heads with this VIP beast....hahahahahahaha...

But for real though I did trade the lexus for the 2008 Ford Expedition EL Eddie Bauer 4WD.
 
Man I am really surprised at how comftorable this big vehicle drives. It drives like a car...I got the  Eddie Bauer edition which added camel color leather wood grain,chrome trimmings a real nice sound system and lots more add ons...its really luxurious in side and out...
 
I am going to miss the LX470 but with the room that I will gain and the 100,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty, life time maintance..cant beet that..My warranty was just about to expire and these lx470 are hella expensive to fix when they break..shit just last novemeber I had fix the suspension and cost me $3300 duckets...great cars but hella expensive to fix...I guess I could have purchased an extended warranty up to 100k miles but I really need something bigger with four kids and all.....
 
Surprisingly so far I am getting almost 15mpg...Just got it this past saturday so we will see how it averages....but so far so good.
 
I have some plans for it but nothing you folks will like as this is a VIP style forum and not a DUB or 4x4 forum...
 
 I am either going to lift it and slap some 20x14's or some 22x14's with some nice meety strectched tires....or Possible do some 24" or 26" .....yeah thats right something different than the norm in here..I have never been a fan of just one style of car moddin
 
IF any of you have ever owned a lifted truck man it is sure nice to be on top of everyone looking down for a change....get to see all the pretty ladies in skirts.hahahaha
 
Anyways I thought I would share my latest purchase...I know widebodyQ had posted what would be your next ride and well as of saturday night this is it a 2008 Ford Expedition EL Eddie Bauer 4WD.........
 
As for the Q it is going to go into a make over soon...just as need to get some financial expenses paid off and I think you will all be surprised on whats to come...maybe not as fast as I would hope or like to but it will be out eventually..

26s with a spring drop or better yet bagged. lifts are extra gay.

*edit - a small lift to fit 28s or 30s is acceptable

might not be your way but different strokes for different folks..Its a 4x4 so bagging it or lowering it is out of the question..  
 
Down here in Tucson Lifted trucks are the shiat mayng...especially with some big wheels with some deep as lips with smaller steched tires....aaaaa mayng my mouth is watering...

Congrats on the new ride! The Expedition ELs are sick! I was about to trade my Suburban for either the newer body style Burbs or the Expy EL. Decided to keep mine because it'll be paid off real soon.

yeah looks clean...It was either the New 2008 Suburban LTZ, 2008 GMC Danalli or the Ford Expition EL...and I really like the front end and body style of the new fords...plus 1000 more towing copacity..nice to towe my boat...

I am not sure if they have the same style in texas but there is a style here where they lift trucks and make them look like remote control cars...the look like toys...SOme nice 20-22 inch weds with like 10+ " of lip and not your odernary 35-37 inch tires..more like a 33 that would be sttttrecchhed..THe truck does not sit as high but man they look sweet as fuuuuuuuuuuuuugghh...
 
maybe not your cup of tea but I dig it...Only thing there is it might void my warranty and if so..than 24-26" all the way..here is a nice little inspiration

you know i'm just messin with you about the lift (even though it [I]is[/I] how i feel, only thing i would ever lift is a box chevy for 23s/24s or an suv for 28s/30s). do your thing.
 
i think for the money/warranty issues the wisest move would be 26s (28/30 tires cost too much). a lift will void your drivetrain warranty no doubt. you could probably get away with a 2" spring spacer lift but anything drastic and the warranty goes out the window.
 
the law says they have to prove the modification is what caused the issue but that won't be hard with a true lift.

I love the bagged look on anything .. lifted if is your other car .. cheers .. but for me I wont or cant do anything lifted .. 


Ahh too bad you didn't get a unibody color ... all black would be nice

Yeah I wanted the all pearl white but my wife fell in love with this two tone because it matched the camel leather....Girls is different...Also the Eddie Bauer only comes Two Tone..at least at the dealer ships here in Tucson..Thats what we were told..I Looked in the pamphlet and it said the same thang...Eddie Bauer two tone paint scheme...
 
if it was me and only me..there would be NO chrome and painted all the same one color everything...here is picture of my old suburban...EEEhhh I can allways paint the lower half to match the top if I really want later on down the road once I start modding it...

The CEO of Ford Motor Vehicles drives an LS430 and said it was the best car in the world. And wanted Ford to be as good as Lexus. I guess that's why the 500 is a ripoff. And Ford can't touch Lexus.

In terms of domestic cars, FORD is my favorite brand. Not VIP but I think the new Flex could be a Woodie though! Here's a p-chop I did of the concept last year, personally I would so rock this thing.

Vipstyled? Seems like just about anything can be vipstyled according to the site consenses. I think it will end up looking more Dub/gangster rap-star more so.

The only ford i like are the Fairlanes & galaxie's & the flex ^^^^^
