L.E.D license plate bulbs

Where can I get em?  When I first joined I think some of the sponsors on here sold complete led bulb kits to replace interior and exterior stock bulbs for certain cars.  Then the site went down for a couple months and I cant find it. Anyone know where can I can get em?

I got pretty confused on that first site. So many to chose from lol. Someone gimme some feedback on certain types they've tried. I want something visible but nothing like holy shit thats blinding type shit.

I had Polarg M4s and they were unimpressive. Next to bright LEDs they look stock. They're pretty much stock bulbs painted blue.

i just searched for license LED bulbs on vleds.com and it seems they only have 1 for the flat rectangular looking bulbs that fit on my stock Y33 q45. is this the one I need because the other bulbs seem to stick out if it were to be installed. would these work fine?

i ordered all my LED for my interior and license plate from a canadian ebay seller i think the user name was "maple" something 
but the LED are pretty bright and that user is a very good seller when it comes to problems (cuz i ordered the wrong bulbs)

Go to ebay and search "Wide Viewangle LED" You should find an 8-LED cluster in white on the hit list. Sure Electronics is the seller. I believe this is the best bang for the buck. 
 
One thing about the most 164 bulbs,(in my case anyways) is that they are designed to go in sideways so the filament is horizontal. Most rebased 164 LED bulbs like the ones sold on the links above use general 5mm LEDs which only spread light about 30 degrees. and even with a wide angle superflux type LED you will only get about 30% light focused on your plates. it will just look like simple rebased bulb.  With these you just power it to your current wires, and mount them in the housing put the lense over it and ur done. and the leds are facing straight down so all the light is spread around ur license plate. 
 
I used this same clusters but with 3 x 3 chip piranha LED. For those u need to add a resistor to work properly so that is why i dont recommend them.

i had mine custom put in due to the sideways issue!

All i remember is we got 13 LED bulbs for 8 dollars shipped & they still work.
I cant remember the site tho.

I realize I'm pretty late getting into this, but I grabbed a pair of white Eurolite 194 LED bulbs for my car, and I definitely give them the seal of approval - they're much better than stock, and a very nice white. Only downside is the price.

If you need flank LEDs. I buy all my LEDs from this guy. His prices are good and his shipping is cheap.

I've bought from superbrightleds.com and they failed on me in a month.   They're bright but still failed.   One side start blinking iradically and then the front parking lights also.   I also got their LED turn signals and they are starting to go one by one.   Each LED bulb is going out slowly.   There is like 13 LEDs on each bulb turn signal.   The license plate had about 6LEDs.

Do you mean like these (mine are festoons with 6 led's per side)?

^ The festoons are the only bulbs i've noticed that don't burn out. I had eagle eye LED's, 5 matrix's, and inverted LED's at one time or another and they all failed. Its so sketchy driving around with a burnt out LED license plate frame cause its a bullshit excuse for the cops to pull you over. I have 37x8mm festoons in my W126 and they haven't failed and look as baller as pres's jag does (except mine shoot across and down more) The whole 126 is festoon's and not a single one hasn't failed me yet.

If you want to prevent the blinking issue, you have two options:

1) In the number plate area, you can remove the lenses and let the lights shine unfettered. Don't ask me why this works but we've tried on two cars (80 Supras) which were blowing LEDs left and right and they're still working with no blink.

2) My preferred way is to solder a diode to the positive lead. Granted there is a voltage drop of 700mV as is standard with using diodes, but it prevents current reversing which is what kills LEDs. My trunk light has one of the first six-chip SMDs and was going strong for almost 2 years until I decided to remove it 2 days ago. That thing ran so hot that after 30 seconds of being lit, touching the surface to the back of your finger would burn you. I removed it in favour of putting my extra set of puddle lights in the back deck shining into the trunk.

P.S. Neither my drop position or rolling position lamps have given me any issues either, but I removed them to go back to regular high output LEDs.

The ones I got are OH-390, picked up at Up Garage last October for 990 yen (10 bucks) the price printed on the package is 3,885 yen.  They look great and work perfect.  Brand is Ohinata(.co.jp), they're single LED's, made in Japan.

Im glad i found this thread. Im considering swapping all my interior bulbs to led, maybe even all the exterior ones too.

anyone cop some for the Y33 yet? i'm planning on switching mines out soon because the wedge ones i bought suck ass and after taking off the plastic cover i noticed u don't even need the wedge ones because the bulb is suppose to shoot straight down. theres so many to choose from i just don't wanna waste my money on getting the wrong ones again.
