funny thing happened today....

so i was taking a nap at my friend's house (i've been working at his place), and my friend bolts up excitedly from his desk (from where you can see the street, where my car is parked).

he says to me, "there's a dude taking photos of your car!!"

so apparently some random guy in a mazda 6 pulled up alongside my car and homeboy busted out a camera and started shooting.

oh, and last week a group of kids in a truck stopped and stared at it for a good 5 minutes before they left too.  haha

funny thing is, the car isn't even that crazy (rims, drop, camber).  my old 240 was flashier, and nobody stopped to do that :(

has anything like that ever happened to you guys?

Had some young kids ina ucf20 do some antilock brake action in front of my house. Had my ucf11 parked in my driveway (dropped, crazy offsets, full kit), friends ucf11 on the street. They stared a good while until I popped up from under the hood. Then they drove off. Same kids in front of my friends house up the block, same thing...   I've had people snap shots while I was driving my truck, naturally I hit the switches and dragged frame for some better photos.   I've caught people looking at my g50 while at the stop light, cross walk... maybe they looking at the big birdsh!t on my window....

That happened when I came out of In-N-Out once. They stopped me to ask me about my car.

always happens with my car, cell pics are the most common, and the comments when you are parked and walking away are funnier hahahaha

Caught a guy posing in front of my car all knelt down in front of it with his friend taking a pic of him one day coming out of the store. When I got to the car I was like can I help u? and he said he wanted to impress his girfriend by telling her it was his car! I laughed and said go for it dude, I even let him sit in the drivers seat! so if you guys see my ride posted up on myspace or anywhere else you know I didnt sell her and know how this  happened!

Haha whatever Aristo.   You're the guy claiming it's yours, but it was actually his!   :P    jk man.

I hear allllllllll sorts of comments.    Had a couple people take shots of me driving.   Lots of people stop in parking lots to ask about it though.

my favprite parking lot story was me pulling into the parking lot of a strip mall, bumping ice cube videos, windows down, roberto cavalli shades on, and parking, dropping the car, getting out and getting asked by a small group of people "Are you a rapper?" hahahahahahaha gotta love it like Mickey D's!!!

sh!t.down here in Maui,i get more attention when im in my hachi.:( other than that,people think im a drug dealer wen im in my Lexus.

even funnier thing happened today

i was at sears getting a new battery put in (don't ask -- i didn't have my toolset on me, nor did i have the time or patience to deal with an old, nasty, leaky battery) and the tech says to me,

"nice car.  do you race it?"

it was really hard to keep a straight face, to say the least.  haha

I get the "DO you race, drift that car" comments alot.

Kid: Man that's a nice car, goota alot of money into it?
Me: Maybe depends on what you consider alot.
Kid: Yeah true, is it quick?
Me: It's not a race car, I wouldn't know.
Cashier: *snicker*

most common thing i get asked is..."does it have air suspension???" which is a no. i dont.

ive gotten a few haters though, coincidentally old black men saying i ruined the car...as they leave in their park avenues with the chrome lady and 22" TIS wheels and side vents. gotta love texas.

some dude said my car was a 240.. i died a lil bit inside

lol i remember that day...they got out of a camaro or something at starbucks. i lawled and felt bad for you at the same time.
