STOLEN 1968 datsun 510 4 door

project car stolen last night between 9pm and 11 am in rosemead, ca. If anyone see or hears anything please email me at [EMAIL="thejdmgarage@yahoo.com"]thejdmgarage@yahoo.com[/EMAIL]. It cannot be rolled or driven, I intentionally put high offest wheels that locked up the wheels to the frame. It had to be towed, there were scrathes from floor jacks they must have used to roll it out, and skid marks in the street to what ever trailer or tow truck they put it on. Its been in and out of the same spot for over a year now and has never been tampered with till today. Please any info would be greatfully appreciated. Thanks :|

Ron you know this was an inside job, only somebody who had been to the shop. From all the people I know that know you... there were a lot of people who knew about the Datto, buut not everyone had "seen" it at the shop. I'll keep my ears open and maybe even start looking for parts, call me so I know what to look for that was so unique it would have to be related.

thanks...the neighbors vid cams caught the whole deal on tape and has been handed to the proper authorities, hopefully it gets found before it gets stripped or burned...its a sss missing the trunk, intake manifold, and fuel level sender is out...i also took the badges off the car. it has the cleanest interior ive ever seen for a 68. thanks for your help.

I would keep an eye out on the EastLos, Highland Park, and Bell Gardens/ South Central area, maybe even Whittier but mainly the others..... known thieves in those areas of old school rides.

hopefully they re-vin it and restore it to the car it should be..thats all i can hope for now...just thinking they are gonna rip it apart and junk the frame to restore a lhd us car just makes me sick to my stomach... such a waste of a great car...legit jdm classic car..

You should start grilling all the people at your shop....it's got to be an inside job, nobody would take a car that's unfinished like that without knowing the true potential of it...I guess the only good thing to say now is at least you didn't dump a bunch of money into the car before they took it. Hopefully it'll turn up with a slip up by them somehow....

Man this sux!!! My friends 87 monte carlo SS got jacked two day ago. Same method man, with a tow truck or something because that thing has no cats or mufflers and is LOUD!! And my homie is way chill... he worked hard to save up money for it just to get it jacked like that, while he was sleepin.
