NEED HELP PLEASE ON RIM FITMENT????

i have a 01 black cherry pearl gs300 and i think these wheels would look soo nice on my car. i chose to stick with 18s b/c of tire cost and just my preference in general. But i have found me some JDWork Bersaglio VIP they are polished with a Polished Lip.

WHEEL SPECS:
Front Wheels: 18×9.5JJ Offset +7
Rear Wheels: 18x10.5JJ Offset -7
PCD: 5X114.3 lug pattern

i know the offsets might look a bit crazy but what kind of fender mods and tires would i need to make this work i really like the rims! 

i am getting my suspension installed on saturday its not airbags but megan coils!!
PLease VIP Gurus help a young grass hoppa out! :)

Youre gonna need shave, and MAJOR pull and MAJOR camber, I doubt you'll want that much camber if you're concerned with tires so you'll probably need to add flares to fit those.  Once you get a pull you will most likely need paint as well so the price of the body work will probably > the price of the wheels. But I dont know much about this :shrug:

Edit: Are those from eliteautostyle?  If they are ask, if they're in japan before you buy lol.

Dont let the price of tires scare you so much man. I bought a set of Falken ST115s and it wasnt so expensive, even for 20 inch tires Nankangs they run about $100 or so a piece, 19s would be perfect for your GS:thumb:

Thats what im wondering too. I want to run negatives, I dont mind pulling rolling and camber. But no widebody or fender flares.

you going to need a camber kit about 1600.00  like platium (so-cal) is running .. and Shave and hard pull .. maybe -7 % camber ?

Those will take some fender moding plus camber adjustments to make them fit.  Why do you want 18s?  They look soo small on a GS.  If I was you, id wait for some 19s or 20s to pop up  but to each his own.

like I always say, buy rims first then make em fit.  If you like em, then whats from stopping you.

well i found another set of wheels the same one but in 18x9 and 18x10 with a 25 offset all the way around for 1100 and i want 18s b/c my car is a daily driver and im looking for a more conservative approach with rims. if i had another car hell id go 20 but i dont. and i think 18s would look nice with a drop!

ive had a few different sets of 18s on my car...they look small, at least to me they do.

u are correct !!! the 19s  are annoying at vibrations and tire cost is rediculous idef want a more solid ride!! and like i said more practicality for me

18s will look nice if the car is low enough and they poke a little

I agree man...those wheels are sick. But -7% is awful aggressive. Myself I dont have the knowledge/money to make anything like that fit. GOOD LUCK.

Look on HI at the work rezax. 1500 with tires 18s to. I think those would look good on your ride as well but like its been said I think 18s need a massive drop to sit right on a GS imo.

well guys i found these and i think i will buy these wheels.  I know i will need some thing is going to need moding. exaactly what kind of modding will i need to do? what kind of tires do you guys suggest to put on these rims? i want it to look a little aggressive, if it cant be achieved  my bad im still kind of a noob to this!! anyways i will probably order these tomorrow!

okie i saw it! the tires still looked pretty high up there? which brand and size are you say ing are 105? 

i was thinking maybe a 275/35/18 for the rear and 245/35/18  for ther front! or would it look more aggressive with a 285 in the rear?

nankang II. I searched 245 35 20 which is what I needed and they were 105.  Look for those in 18 I would imagine theyre cheaper.

235/40 and 265/35 would be proper sizing; maybe throw a spacer on to make them flush. youll only need a shave for those offsets

in the beginning i was going to pic up jstuffs ame's but then these came along theb i gof sick of the vibration and i was worried bout tire cost! i wanted to go smaller but wider originally and i think these will be perfect!!!!
eurolines would be balla but again i need more practicality and the staggered 18s do it fo me and other 19s do it for them but not me. im gona order these wheels in a few days!! please do u know where i can get tires for the for a good price??

tire should be 235/40 and 245/40 for conservative
 
215/45 and 225/45 for some nice stretch.

lol i cant tell them cause i always thought they were too small + they werent offsets i liked for my car...way too high IMO.

and nah i dont know too much about tires, i go to discount cause im lazy haha

and the offsets of his AME's were waaay too high for me and theyve been fixed, so at that price im sure you could find a better deal on alot of wheels. thats prolly why he cant sell them.

i saw those wheels also, you can make it work but you'll need a pull.  it would look sick when slammed, but you wouldnt be able to drive it like that.

fender flares would be the safest way

With these offset you wont have much of any clearance issues but then your go from Gangsta to Bleh ...  in fitment ... but easier to rock :smiley-rofl:

You gotta research some too ..  on offsets :thelaw:.. it will really help down the road .. so these same questions pop up ;P:shrug: , Also ... if you go huge tires then you will rub , like hoebag put out there on the sizes that should work fine
