190e 2.3 16v

i had a question so i fugured id visit this side of the forum to see if i could get some help. theres a shop a couple blocks down from my house where my buddy is having some head work done. right next to my buddy's car is a mercedes 190e 2.3 16v. i went to look at the car but havent talked to anyone about it yet, here's the deal it looks like someone has fallen asleep at the wheel and ran into a guard rail all along the drivers side, the front and rear doors, front fender and rear quarter would all probably need replaced, and as the car sits it looks like the engine is pulled (high in the front) so im wondering if it would be worth it for me to inquire about this car considering the rarity or if the damage is enough for me to not even consider as a project. thanks in advance and if i were to buy this car it would definitely be tastefully VIP influenced.

That is a great car. It depends on the price and condition to know if its worth it.  It has Hydraulic rear suspension that could be why the rear is low.

Damn! Cosworth powered E190 is rare gem man!

Yeah, those 190E 2.3 16v have always been a favorite of mine. I've always wanted to get one in a 5-speed, but rarity and maintenance are a pain in the arse on those cars.

yeah thats the thing, this one is a 5 speed with black leather. i cant believe there's one in wyoming......

They are nice cars! The cost of a used engine and other misc parts are gonna cost you an arm and leg. GL!

yeah, thats what i figure. but this is in front of a shop and i suspect that theyre rebuilding the engine, which would also probably cost me. a better bet would be to find one in decent condition, would probably cost me less in the long run.

you must know me?! i have a 13b in my hachi and an extra one im building for it. im a pretty big fan of rotaries, but sometimes theres a line to be drawn, its kinda like putting a 13b in a 68 camaro....:pat:
