tanabe coilovers

a friend of mine has the [url=http://www.tanabe-usa.com/coilovers/FIVE.asp]pro-five coilovers[/url] from tanabe and i got to ride around after installation. it was fairly easy after removing the backseat. just thought i would let everyone know how smooth and nice the ride quality is. with about an inch of threading left the ride had a significantly lowered stance but was still comfortable and smooth on soft setting and when unit stiffens the ride is greatly improved. he had the [url=http://www.tanabe-usa.com/coilovers/teas.asp]TEAS[/url] installed on it as well, everything was clearly labelled on all wires at both ends (TEAS box side and motor side) so there was no mistaking parts for easy plug and play. With the "active mode" turned on we hit the freeway and streets. the TEAS took absolute control of the dampening and adjusted to every type of driving we took, it adjusted 12x as we sped through the gears and you can actually feel the changes in dampening from soft to hard.  here's a pic of that little box.

Ive had the tein set-up, all generaly the same. glad everytihng is working good. enjoy.

Actually Tanabe coilovers ride great!  We sell alot of them to some of our customers that cant afford or dont want the air suspension.  Great choice in suspension!

Is this system similar to the Tein EDFC??? that active mode sounds bananas!

i've alway been a proud buyer of tanabe's products. never been dissappointed yet.

the edfc and teas are slightly different i believe. same concept but the TEAS has active and manual modes where in the active mode automatically adjusts for speed increases. it was pretty mind blowing the way the dampening adjusted.

im just wondering. im gonna get coilovers soon and was wondering how do you change the height on the car?
