My car only sees rain or water when I wash it
But I believe the controller option is only 150 for my set up

for some reason my remote start doesnt work anymore. like it sends the signal and the car will try to turn over, but it sputters like its dying. but the car starts up manually fine.
i changed the remote battery and its still the same.

It probably went back to default or maybe the bypass might be messed up. We do alot of repairs and installs on alarms at the shop and alot of people ended up having that problem in time. If you know how to do it check the imobilizer to see if a wire came out or reprogram it. Or take it to someone that does alarm installs in your area im sure its an easy fix.

i have the wireless remote for mine too havnt hooked up my dakota yet still running off the switchbox. so i couldnt tell you how it works . i got it because it is easier to adjust each corner individually with the remote than with the actual dakota digital controller itself unless your using the three preset functions all the time

I been wanting to do that forver but I havent even gotten an alarm. Once I get the wheels on IM gonna get in alaram first thing and get it to run with the fob. LIke stated earlier, remote start is a must in Houston Hotness. by the time I get in the car the ac is throwing ice balls at you woot.

theyre honestly a waste of money. very gimmicky. ive seen a bunch of problems with them as well. but, it doesnt hurt. if it doesnt work, u just do it from inside the car.

About the AC. You can and should use AC when first starting a cold engine. It relieves stress on the engine, so it doesnt have to work as hard.

hahaha...I have remote start and use it mostly to show off. But in the winter, I use it to warm up the interior and my seat. Thats why I have smart windows, to roll down my windows with my remote.
