i know i said i wasn't gonna buy anything for the q until next year but i've been grinding for 2 days tryin to come up with the cash. i'm about halfway there...

I saw that too.

1. wasn't sure we should be "free advertising" for them,
2. They say it comes with headlight brackets and no core support but it shouldn't be a problem. (I thought there were no headlight brackets and you need a core support for a clean conversion, hardly bolt on. Anything to make a quick buck I guess)
3. Thought about trying to pick that up but investing into this conversion not knowing if I have all the right parts are not my top priority.

i don't think they know exactly what they are talking about (just assuming its bolt on cause its the same chassis, we know better) but the parts are what they are.
 
i'm assuming that you sent them a message since you have more info than was given in the auction. its very possible that there are headlight brackets. statepolice! is the only time i've actually seen the conversion so i always based my knowledge off of what i saw him do. it could be that has was just short a part. :dunno:

Yeah but I think it's the core support you need. since the Q45 core support is short about 2 inches the President core support according to statepolice's thread would line up perfectly without brackets.

I just dislike the whole "these are getting popular let's get in on it now while it's hot concept."
When I was originally looking for a pres front almost a year ago no one wanted to attempt to find one. ;/

Yeah it is a awesome deal which is why i was interested in it but i really can't afford that right now. just bought a car for the wife and it needs a little TLC.

Great find......I am sure even with the missing parts it will still go to a happy home.  I think that it is great that people are looking out for parts even though they don't plan to use it and in some cases not even the same make and model of their own vehicle.

They actually have 5 conversions left I think.  I bought one, just waiting on it to come in.  I agree with what you're saying Damicci, I too was looking for a complete conversion back in 06 when I first got interested in VIP style.  The fact is they are hard for the average Joe to import and these guys have made it easier to get one.  I hardly think these will be the next big thing or the bandwagon will jump on just because one company had a few shipped over here, you aren't going to see old Q45's with President conversions thrown on like cheap honda body kits is my point.  People are going to buy these, make em work, and they still will be a rare and unique find.

to me its good business for them to be keeping up with the current trends in customizing.
 
honestly i dont care if every g50 in the states gets their hands on a conversion. the president is just a car, its what you do with it from there that really counts.

eeeh we both no my car is sitting looking nice and pretty and driveable not just sitting awaiting...when I get around to it I may or may not finish it...its not that big a deal anymore..I really dont have to use my car to prove how manly I am or how VIP I am...thats old news..on to bigger and better things..

My vinyl equipment is paid off..and since I got my silk screen set up..I just made enough with this past job and this next job to pay just about a little less than half of it...only a few weeks into it so far...now thats skrilla you wish you could do...YOu keep paying someone to do your shirts while I will actually be the one who profits off of jokes like you. Thats were the money is..not beeing the middle man...what do you know about hustling...and all my equipemt has been purchased cash..no financing..

Fusa was locked because of religious beliefs..baby VP was exactly how I wanted it..I did not want the I in it ..and profection is because I type to damn fast and don't use spell check.. VIP donk just a concept..When I sold the shirts they said perfection!!!

I always show something..I said I was going to purchase vinyl and a heat press...bam showed it..I said I was going to purchase screen press and equipment bam bought it and showed it..I purchased a Computer..bam showed it...
 
I said I was going to slam my car did it, I said I was going to get some wheels did it, I said I was going to make a dash table did it and much more...I have plenty to show for...
 
I got my car to the point it is in 1 year most of that time was wainting on shipping from Japan.....since then your right nothing to show...but I also have not said I am doing anything to it...I have stated its on hold...and its still sits like freeeken pretty VIP CAR...NO one but two people have said negative comments on my car...that must mean something.. 
 
As far as shirts concerned weight makes way more than little hustle..that's the truth...and you know it..your just to proud to say it..

I got my shit straight..I can put out any design I want..I own my own shop..I don't have to worry about what sizes I have, or have to Waite for the next run...Like I said before you do your little jobs and I will handle the big jobs you can't touch.
 
You keep charging these members 100% mark up on your investment while I will find ways to allow more folks to sport VIP gear at half of your cost...WHY because I am not trying to fund my car using VSC members and I am not trying to get rich quick of of VSC members...:biggthumpup:
 
What you pay lets say ...$20-$25 screen fee...and the shirt are probably printed at $6-$8 and you turn around and sell them for $25...
 
When I sold them for $20-$25 I paid $3-$6 a shirt depending on size..and Vinyl is more expensive than screening...just ask presidente he knows...PLUS I did customized shirts printed front and back and even sleeves...thats justified in the cost...We should call you %100_mark_up_man98...:smiley-rofl:

I agree I have NO CLUE when it comes to building cars..I can not weld nor can I pull a fender correctly..and I have admitted to that..I do give you props and all those who can successfully build their own rides from the ground up..never denied anyone that..ever..But you see you also are sweating doing your own thing when it comes to cars..I will have to pay for someone to do what you can do..
 
We both have our own sweatshops yours is cars mine is t-shirts..is anyone better than the other NO..
 
Your creative level comment is at question though....its one sided..In your eyes  you see your designs better..in my eyes I see my designs better...I have made a living off of my designs a very successful living...I have clients in many states and countries whether you believe it or not. IT is the truth. My designs have even been stolen and used..where yours ??NO why because they are pictures that you have manipulated in photoshop..
 
Draw a logo from scratch.. draw a car from scratch..then talk..but anyone who has photoshop can do a threshold filter and change the curves..simple filters..I use them as well..
 
I have vast knowledge of design and computer graphics..like I said that comment is to be questioned and one sided
 
I make great money on logo design..Video processing..web design...This shirt thing is just something new to add to my business..
 
Now if your talking about your creative level in cars...maybe your right..maybe you are more creative in that area ..But I have done some pretty creative things with my interior that NOONE CAN DENIE..FACT!!!!!!!
 
I have a pretty strong artistic gift that I have put to use..painting wood grain..and I know you think that's dumb but what ever..Its still a very unique skill that not every one can just pick up and do..you have to agree with that..
 
If I remember correctly when you first came on here your maxima was no piece of art..maybe I might be confusing you with another maxima..if so my bad..
 
Truth be told that I have seen your car domain page and have not seen ANY finished product..So I will give you props when your done..I do not see any creativity as of yet because your car sits in a million pieces as of right now. So how can you say what you do gets done..

I have had my y33 and look at my car portfolio on you tube and all the great comments..look at my car domain comments nothing but great comments..my car was even at the top of the list for the Q45...must mean something..is it your style I guess not..but it is my style and I get nothing but positive feedback with or without a kit..and even with my fucked up pulled fenders..because they really are not that bad..just not  done to the highest level of perfection.
 
I drove a LX470...now bought a 2008 Eddie Bauer EL Expedition..NEW...to roll in..Before these last cars I had a New lifted 2003 truck..before that I had a New 98 suburban..all the cars I bought have been new and not used for the past 10 years except my Y33..You see son..You don't know me at all you just think you do from what you read and how you interpret things.
