Help Removing stuck rusted muffler nut

So today I told myself I'll remove the suitcase. My questions were can i drive like that with out it from awhile with no gas mileage or engine misfunctioning?

Now for the topic.I removed the U shaped bolt, well just one it broke in half.So one sides free and the other isn't.The nut size it 17mm and it wont move one bit even if I smack it hard with a rubber hammer and WD-40.Any ideas on how to break it or cut the nut off?

I dont want to cut the pipes.well please help asap thanks.

Try torching it then seeing if it will turn. or just soak it in PB Blaster.

Im not rich!!! Lol neither can i afford it with empty pockets. Now and days nobody can get a job.Anyways i will be torching it.I have a 93 G50 nothing will happen if i heat it with the torch right?I dont want to blow up.I wasted 2hrs trying to take one nut off and all it did was get me dirty and i hit my elbow and layed under the car just admiring it hahaha thats bad.

I still want to know can i drive around with no harm of gas mileage decrease without the suitcase?

I just used a hack saw. There will be no harm in doing it, at WOT however you might piss off johnny law. Doesn't sound too bad without it but you will see some black exhaust caking on the rear diff after a while.

I found the magic tool for rusty or rounded nuts - Metrinch. They work, if it can come off they will do it or break it trying, but they dont slip.

get it hot with the torch then hit it with PB blast, rinse - repeat a few times and you should get it to turn.

yeah rusted bolts are a bitch, there really isnt a "wax on wax off" on how to remove them, just gotta get in there and get violent. my only advice is heat, pb, wear gloves and use eye protection

i used some industrial strength knock em loose made by crc. its kinda hard to find but i find it works better than pb blaster. another option is to put a grinder to it.

trick of the trade.. if you have a torch just heat the nut till it come almost red hot and put the socket over and it will lossen up .. what happens is the nut expands with heat.. and it breaks free of the rust.

if you dont have a torch to heat it.. get some trans oil.. and soak it with trans oil for few hours.. use alot.. this usally works if wd40 or pentrating oil dont work.. but doesnt work as good as heating it.

what kinda fucken nut ?!? picutre of where this nut is located. it shouldent be this hard to freakin break it. usually if its rusted.. and you tried taking it off, it would break.
