Hawaii VSC Meet / BBQ Aug 3, 2008

Sorry for the delay.  We ran into HUGE issues with our server which forced me to restore from a recent backup as well as move to a new server.  Anyways, I wanted to thank everyone that showed up at the Meet on Sunday.  I had a blast meeting and hanging out with everyone.  want

It was an eventful meet / cruise.  One of our members had an unfortunate run-in with the cops.  Sucks how it all turned out.  Not my story to tell, I will let him tell it if he wants.  However, if anyone wants to donate to his tickets, cause jesus, I have NEVER seen a ticket list as long as his....  email me :)

I wanted to thank Bryan from Sessions USA for hosting the BBQ at his new house.  Elpresidente for the fun times running around Honolulu / Waikiki.  The fountains in front of Yardhouse was good times for Keoni!  hahaha...

It was great to meet you and the family! 
 
It was also good to meet more of the VSC family. 
 
Got to watchout for the COPs here.. MY GF got pulled over in the TSX the night before for having the Saftey check next to the Lic plate and for dark tint in which when they metered it it was 100% legal..

Yeah tell me about it......working in Waikiki is no fun.  I know that it is all about a matter of "when" and not "if" of when I will get pulled over.  But I got the paperwork so techincally I should be good.....but when did that ever stop the issuing of tickets right?

Wish I could of attended this event.......would of been great to see the rides first hand.

was nice meeting you john and the family... me and my cousin were freaking out when we saw the blue lights.. haha.... i guess it had to happen to me sometime... im just glad they didnt tow the car... im actually in the process of writing a satement including pictures of how rediclous that cop was with the tickets... im pretty sure i can get most of the tickets dropped.... hopefully!!! haha

SOrry to here about the run in with the cops.. My GF had a run in with them the night before.. 
 
I been reading on post junkie what happend to you.. but i cant post there.. i only can lurk.. LOL 
 
best thing to do about the tint tickets.. is to go back to where you tinted the car to get a meter reading done to your car with a statment from the tint shop stating the tint is within specs.. Some times cops dont know the laws and how to enforce it.. I saw your tint.. its didnt look illegal at all.. Also some times the cops meters arent calibrated right. IF you go to court some thing to ask for is for the calibration records of that meter that was used.. 
 
Some times these cops are to much.. he should have just gave you a ticket for Recon..

It's in pieces under construction right now..so I was driving the Benz...

nismonr, the black Y33 is Night Garage member Mike M. (screen name: acurilty).  He's on JIC (modified Y33 Cedric) coilovers with UAS aerosport bags and all adjustable rear arms.  When his new front camber plates come in, the front should drop down another 1.5-2".  I'll let him chime in about his Work's.
