Wheel Choice: Gerade vs. Waffe

Hi Guys,
 
Despite people liking almost all of the wheels i've posted here there and everywhere i have pretty much settled on either LockSmice Gerade & Leon Hardiritt Waffe.
 
They are both very similar, the Waffe has 8 'holes' in the face, the Gerade 7. The Waffe has a 'Stepped Lip', the Gerade has a normal straight lip. The Gerades are about $2k AU a set, the Waffe $2.5k a set.

I personally love the Lock Smice Gerades & always will, I wish to have em one day. 20" Stepped lips polished, holla!

I love the Waffes. I like the 8 spoke over 7 spokes.

dang this is gonna be close... i really like them both so i might end up going the Locksmice to be different (plus theyre $500 cheaper!)

ok, look into this who makes locksmice. i know leon is REALLY japanese made. could locksmice be made in taiwan stamped with "made in japan"??? so quality vs. cheap stuff

antbo - i also thought of this last night, just did a bit of scouting and they appear to be as legit as Leon Hardiritt but i cant get the page to translate to english. apparently LockSmice are a sub-brand of KenStyle if anyone knows anything about those guys products? (i see they have a USA presence)
 
found a comparable pic of some LockSmice Gerades compared the the Waffe picture up the top. A guy was selling this set early this year in pretty much the EXACT specs i will be geting if i get them:

Concave face on the Waffe is what sold it for me..hence the wheels on my Jag.  So yah...Leon or bust.
