RIM ADVICE NEEDED: Matte Black vs Polished Lip

Hi guys,
 
I am new here..I drive a FD1 Civic..i guess u could say its vip styled..just fitted my bodykit and getting my exhaust done this week ive also got a camber kit that i havent yet installed.
 
anyway im running 19" Dronell D-09 Rims with 235 front and 245 rears..
 
i'll post more pics later..but i was just wanting all ur advice regarding my rims.. as i did a mock up job with some tape to see whether painting the whole rim in matte black would be good..or whether i should polish the lip and keep the rest as it is..or paint it matte black..
 
i have included some pics for u 2 get some ideas..
 
when my car is looking more complete..i will post better pics.
 
advice would be greatly appreciated..

thnx firelizard...when i taped it up with all black..it gave my car a whole different feel..
 
im more confident in doing it now....

Black/polished is old? What about the JDM fanboys with their all black rims?
 
IMO if you want black wheels, you might as well get 15"s so at least you dont sacrifice ride quality. Cos once you are moving you cant tell the difference...

rims are currently off the car and in a workshop as we speak!..

I thinkin the all black it just looks better to me.

At this point, all-black looks more DUB to me.

I usually see this on murdered-out Tahoes and 300Cs.

I don't care for the look because it makes the wheels look small.

after i got the initial idea..i couldnt look @ my car the same..
 
so i brought the rims in last week and got them back yesterday..
 
heres a shot of the rims..
 
exhaust was also installed..so i'll have to put some better pics up..when i take them..
