vacationing in cali

whats going on im headed down to Anaheim area for vacation from September 6th or September 13th.  are there any events going on that week?  i'd love to see some of cali's finest bippu cars if there is something going on.  any info would be great.. im taking my girl to Disneyland and in return i told her i wanted to be able to do some car stuff. haha thanks in advance.

That would be awesome if you guys have something planned during that time.  i have been trying to make VIP a bigger thing up in the NW and its slowly catching on.  please post up if any of you guys plan anything thanks.

haha shoots im heading down to glendora, san gabriel/rosemead area from the 22-24th for vacation shoot anyone down there who wants to share some SOCAL VSC greatness!?!

do you guys know any good shops i should check out while im down there?  i was gonna stop by autobacs can you guys think of any other good ones to swing by?

Hey Kenji hit me up on what days you are going to be here and what days you have free so we can set up a meet at the shop that sunday you are here so you can meet people.  We are only 1.5 hour  drive south of OC.

That's the nastiest tasting coffee...however I enjoy the scenery.   and some crawfish once in awhile.

also if you are staying that long also go to Knott's berry farm...try going half day since that's all it takes to ride the good rides.    Maybe medival times?

thanks a friend of mine is planning on taking me to medieval times and i am trying to go to super autobacs as well in stanton because i guess thats only 15-20 minutes away from where im gonna be..

but seriously lets setup a lil cruise/ meet out here in OC for him. id love to see his car.


id say we meet up at autobacs, then we head out for a cruise to the beach or something. maybe even out to san pedro. it has the sickest park there with a view overlooking the whole ocean.

ive set up a couple cruises to this place before and theres large parking lots and everyone loves the cruise/ scenery here.

if you guys are down ill set up a thread for this with dates and all once we can agree on it.

medieval times is pretty dumb. its lame in my opinion and a waste of money. take that dollar and go to knotts berry farm. the best ride they have is supreme scream.

u go about 1/4 a mile up or so, and then it drops u freefall. its fuckin crazy. crazier than skydiving.

i stopped by seal beach during my stay, it was fun except for the part where i got sunburned on my feet... nasty!

vzuptnguyen.  sorry im not bringing my car down to cali with me.  im flying down.. yah i was kinda skeptical about medieval times as well but the person who is taking us there is treating so cant really complain with free food and a show.  *shrugs*  yah im trying to still plan out what im doing each day.  this trip is pretty much a go with the flow trip.. i havent really planned out what were doing or where on what day.. the only place i am for sure gonna be is at highlands club on friday night.  aside from that.. trying to squeeze in heading to a couple of shops. hitting up disneyland, universal, still trying to decide if i have time and wanna hit up knotts berry farms or six flags.  those pictures look amazing.. where are they?

its korean friendship bell park in san pedro, ca.

yea free food is always nice. lol. knotts berry is ehhh but its got supreme scream which is about the best ride ive been too. i love heights and freefall so if u like that, ull love it.

six flags is ok as well. nothing exciting. goliath is fun since it has a nice high and fast drop and will pull some G's. other than that its pretty dull rides.

meeting up at  Autobacs then drive to  San Pedro sounds pretty fun.. The SEAFOOD over there is off the chain, they got everything...=).....   When your down here in CALI you should check out SPEEDZONE or indoor go-karting at K1 SPEED....

WOW everything came up so fast.. I guess I didn’t get to meet any of you guys but I did have a great trip.  I stopped by Super Autobacs and was a bit disappointed.. I guess I had higher hopes as to what it was gonna be.  But I did get to see the greddy GS350 there. That was sick, and I was surprised to see a few VIP cars during my trip.  I saw a Black LS430 debadged dumped with some good fitment wheels on the freeway.. couldn’t quite catch up and when I did it was getting off the freeway.  And I did go to Guppy’s Tea House and all of a sudden there was a black GS with a wald lip kit and a JP grill and I cant think of the name of the wheels but it was super clean.. so if you are on the boards.. clean car!  I did the normal tourist thing and hit up Disneyland and Universal Studios to make the lady happy and we did a lot of shopping.  Also I got to make a few excursions out to some other car things.  I got to meet Clark Ishihara and check out his shop VIP Status and got to see the amazing Wald LS460 which the magazines and pics just don’t do justice and got to chat with him for a bit, and then went to Coffee and Cars in Irvine and saw some nice exotic cars and muscle cars and in back I see this beautifully dumped LS460 done up by Shin Okamoto at Air runner and so I got to chat a bit with him as well.  And before we left we hit up this asian market and I saw a silver Y33 Q45 that was dumped on some black with polished lip wheels cambering like crazy in the parking lot.  I was so sad to come home because there was so much more that I wish I coulda done but it was still a successful trip.  Thanks for all of you who tried to set up stuff and give me ideas of places to hit up.  I need to make another trip down there soon and hopefully ill get a chance to make it down to San Diego to check out Auto Fashion and meet Freddie and hopefully can make a meet if the timing is right.  Once I have a chance to edit my 1,500 pictures ill try to post some of them up.
