some plans i had in mind for the Y33..
need some honest opinions from you guys... I'm going to be hacking up a version select front bumper and i'll be adding some dual fog lamps on both sides. To make it a lil more clean I was thinking of adding these E46 M3 air duct fog lamp covers I found on ebay and custom fit some nice 90mm hella fog lamps.
hopefully 90mm would be a close fit since i don't know the exact measurements of the E46 fog lights.

I'm still trying to gather up all the parts i need before starting the body work.. i plan on adding some custom fender vents, nothing too fancy.. (i'll post a pic later) and i'm getting rid of the window squirters and adding a w140 S-class hood grille vent (thanks to WIDEBODYQ for the idea) and some other goodies. Eversince Widebodyq came out with his big ballin presibent and racinstylez ls430, it gave me that motivation to do some research and think of ideas for my whip.. so big props to you guys!

yup! just got done setting up a wholesale account with them.. =) Finally I can use the money I saved up for a $5000 body kit on other stuff, i really didn't wanna spend that much on aero because it would be a while for me to jump back up on mods from a big purchase like that.

The s-class hood vents look great on our cars. I've seen several cars from Japan with them.

those hood vents are too sporty lookin for me and i'm not really feelin the style. I was talking about the older Big body S class hood grille, it's nothing fancy but will go well with the Y33 imo. here's a pic i found of the w140.

Good luck. I love to see people go custom. Little details make a huge difference at the end. I still got the Chrome fins that go on top of that hood vent. pm me if your interested, ill let them go for half of what I paid which isnt much.
Ill explain in the winter when I start my next project why I didnt go with a hood vent ;)

still waiting for a callback from VS and i'll let you know on prices..
Here's what i plan to go as for fender vents.. what do you guys think? just clean and simple.. i was thinking of buying the artisan spirits fenders but the bottom vent just kinda killed it for me.
and since the car is going to be in for some major body work I might pull the rear quarter panels a bit, for room to fit some more aggressive wheels in the future and just add maybe a 10mm spacer for now.
fogs should come out looking like this with the covers

exactly what i was thinking of doing.. here's some pictures that gave me the idea
It's funny how I always end up changing my mind on something, even if it's little but those quick minor adjustments can make your car look totally different. While browsing through photo galleries, magazines, or pictures on a thread and I run into something I like or an idea for my car I save it until I have enough pics and plan the finish product.
