Hi from MAXI tuning
Hello to all, I'm Esper and I'm working for MAXI tuning magazine. I regret that the VIP style is so unpopular in my country, so I came here to learn from the best and make VIP style more and more popular in Poland. I'm an editor in MAXI tuning magazine, in which we're showing the most beautiful cars from many tuning styles. Can You imagine, that we didn't have any real VIP car yet? Except a few Keicars from Kranze. That's a shame. So I'm here to learn and promote VIP in Europe.
I'm driving BMW E39, but as far as I noticed You don't find that model much VIP. But I'm still looking for some idea to get close to VIP
Stay VIP folks!

I'm looking for any car from Poland in here but I can't find any. Do You know if there's any Polish VIP project?

I'm working on VIP introduction for our mag Readers and would like to ask You if I can find any threads focused on VIP history and meanings of the details like fusa, kintuna and so on. I've read "My thoughts on VIP Style Cars"and VIP NOOBS.LOOK!! but still ask for more. Is there anything more on this?
I did some research and I can share with You some stuff if You like and find it interesting, e.g. what are the knots used for the kintuna or fusa and what that means and so on. Some people are just copying stuff simply cause it's Japanese and don't think about the roots and meaning, aren't they?

Unfortunately that is the case Esper. Many people don't realize the significance of the items, aside from "they look JDM cool". I'm impressed and very very glad you are taking the time to learn the cultural side of the style, and the fact that there is a very high level of respect involved. Welcome to the board, and if we can be of help, don't be afraid to ask!

As I'm not allowed to write in the Gallery section, I would like to thank Yosi and Pancakes for the opportunity to feature Oscars car in our mag. It was a pleasure to prepare text and layout of such well prepared project. And big thanks for VSC for the lots of information about the VIP culture. I would like to make that style more and more popular and enclosed VSC address as a best source of VIP knowledge.

I think the only thing slowing it down is the economy and exposure but the exposure part is definatly changing!

All my family and friends are pretty stoked about the mag! I still can't belive you guys chose it for being on your cover and as the intro to your VIP coverage but I'm greatly apreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You will see, this site has many many more dope cars that deserve to be on future covers than mine! Look around! ;-)
Also, I need a favor! I probably could've PM'd but F*** it!
I'm tryna get a few copies of the issue. They don't sell the mag any where here in the states.
I can pay for the extra issues if you can get me them! Let me know....thanks and welcome to VSC!

Hahahaha...thanks?
There's always been a lot of speculation with a few things, but being an old salt myself (36) and having been involved in car culture for all my life (due in part to my family being heavily involved in cars and car culture and having lived in Japan), I have always striven to understand fully what interests me in various automotive genres.
So if you have any questions...yes, I am more than willing to help.

Ok, ok, my bad:) I know who is who, I wrote Pancakes at first, but then changed it to Oscar in one place and klick submit. Then I realised, that there's Pancakes once again. But I can't edit my posts, and that's why there's such mess:)
