always check your new stuff that you order.

i've had a wald kit collecting dust for almost a year for my car.  i decided to put on the front and sides to make holes and fit.  as i was unpacking my side skirts, i saw some white which looked like fibers.  i started tearing out the wrapping and my side skirts are CRACKED.  shit.  i'm pissed off right now.  i can't believe i didnt look earlier.  both of them have at least 3 or 4 cracks, with each of them having one huge crack.  one even had a v crack with the piece almost falling off.  i decided to just put it on my car and tape up the cracked lines. i'm beginning to doubt the work that gets put on for these things.  one of the cracks looks like it came from poor fiberglass work.  i can see a load of clear stuff in the back on top of fibers which doesnt look right at all.  whats worse?  the side skirts dont fit properly!  there are predrilled holes but it just goes straight into the fender well lining!  ahhh...

sorry to hear about your problems, but your message is correct. check yo shit when you get it!

gotta check ur shit asap to inspect for shit like this, so its not a surprise a year later like your case..

Thanks for the notice, I have always checked everything, especially if it's fiber glass since alot goes on from the time it leaves Japan.

Thats sucks sorry to hear that but for that reason is why I have always checked everything I bought cause the same thing has happened to me before and it sucks ass you pay so much money and it sometimes turns out to be just weak & poorly made parts.

I've had a couple of guys in my crew who bought WALD stuff and they were very displeased with the quality.  One guy who bought a bodykit for his 6-series bimmer could poke his finger through the sideskirt.  It was like paper thin.  He was pissed.

As much as we all hate to admit it, it's really the luck of the draw when it comes to recieving quaility parts. Things like fitment especially! Just cause they have brand names and/or cost a grip dosen't guarentee perfect anything unforunatly. Still gotta check you shit and make adjustments....

Unfortunately, I have had the same issues concerning WALD fitment and quality. I received my kit with a cracked rear bumper, and the fitment is not what I would call satisfactory considering they make aero for Lamborghinis and Bentleys.

damn man im sorry to hear that. one up side is that you found the weaknesses BEFORE painting and didnt get screwed out of a kit and paint
