G50 Bodykits.....

I'm thinking about ordering up the JP FRP Underground body kit for my car minus the side skirts and door caps. Does anyone here have this kit or pics of a G50 with this kit installed. Thanks.....

Save your money and order some legit Aero. You WILL be happier in the end. TRUST ME I know.

That JP kit is pretty much a knock off of the INSURANCE GROUP aero for the zenki G50's. Help support the companies and vendors here that now are trying to do more business for VIP styling in America.

I here you bro but I'm not trying to spend hella money on a legit kit. At least my style will be moving in the right direction. I'm starting to see what you guys meant on my xenon lip kit just not cutting it on Vip style.

ouch. Thats a little too far rec. He and the other members of this forum are trying to maintain the image vip style is supposed to portray, and that is that you have $$$. If you're going to be a cheap ass and buy knockoff products then go back to nico.

maaan... i really tried to just bite my tongue but you went there so here it is:

i tried not to call you out on being cheap, just tried to give you an a hint that you were on the wrong path but you want to fight it so here you go: vip is "pay to play". most members here take pride in buying high end parts and cheap knock-offs get no love.

maybe this place is a joke or maybe vip just isn't for you. get comforatble in 101, i doubt you'll ever make it out. as a matter of fact i'll bet you stop coming on vsc before i see 1 single post by rec in the main sections.

i'm not sure i would be caling anything ricey if this was my car:

Damn, You just got told. When the older heads tell you something, you keep your trap shut and listen to their constructive criticism. Why? Because they've been there & done that. And all they are trying to do is trying to lead you in the right direction, so you don't have to fall up opon all that hassle.

hmm, the way i see it, sometimes people have to learn for themselves. i am a noob to this site, but while i believe 100% without a doubt to do it right the first time, not everybody thinks that way, and that's cool. +1 for the regulars trying to help, whether they accept it or not. just let them be, and eventually they'll figure it out...hopefully. after all, you are not gonna tell a kid that can't throw a ball not to join little leagues right? it's the interest that will perpetuate the scene. gotta crawl before you walk...

First off that was my car over a month ago before I started leaning towards the VIP look. Its looks far different now with different suspension and wheels. Either way Black you have no reason to be talking shit to anyone about anything VIP. You have built nothing at this point yet roam around all the forums acting like you know VIP. Selling some gay shirts on Ebay don't make you VIP. Owning a non platform maxima doesn't make you VIP. oWNING A STOCK g50 doesn't make you Vip. I said earlier that I built my G50 for performance not to be Vip and thats why it looked that way. Hell I bet there's not one true platform car on this forum that could outperform my G50 on the track and yet again like i said thats the way I built it. I'm glad that I was able to get a 13.4 in the 1/4 and pull over a g lateral on a 4000lb. car but now its in for a change and thats why I joined this site. But once again Black I built a car, you haven't so take your fan-boy Vip status and shove it. You have done nothing so until then lay off. When you have built a true VIP car like many others here then I'll accept you criticism but for now your just a fan-boy on a Vip-forum. For now Black give us some more Photoshop/Paint pictures of what you wan't your maxima to look like not what it really looks like which is a chopped up un-finished Fwd crap box. Peace

i'm just gonna let this one go. i've already had this argument plenty of times. only difference is it was with people who at least knew what they were talkin about. this is like playing trivial persuit with a retarded kid.

good luck on your build. maybe you can get a feature in super street or something. oh wait... they already did the "how to build a lame ass vip g50 for under $5k" article didn't they.

final words: notice how everywhere you go ppl keep talking to you like you're a clown and you don't know what you're talking about? notice how you keep having to defend yourself and your car? statistically speaking, it's probably not all those unassociated people with the same exact problem. it's probably you.

welcome to vsc and enjoy your stay. good luck on your build. you're gonna need it.

All the truth finally caught up to you didn't it Black. A fan-boy is all you are and probably all you'll ever be. If anyone on here would have said what you said to me about the bodykit I was looking at I would have took it as good advidce and nothing more. But when a fan-boy like you who is dropping there cash into a unfinished pit Maxima that will never be considered Vip its different. When you finish a build on an actual Vip platform then you can give advise but until then keep your fan-boy opinion to yourself. Just because you read Vip for dummies doesn't mean you know your shit Black. You have to walk the walk to talk. And right now your all talk with no build behind you to back you up except a photoshopped Maxima. What counts on my car is whats on the inside, mechanically my car is a beast and now I'm simply changing the outside to be more Vip. When its done not only will it look good but it will perform good. And lastly Black I believe its you who's needs the advise and the goodluck's. Here we are 14months later after you have joined and where's your Vip car bro. Lets see it, where is it? Ohh thats right you only have your Maxima and a g50 that will probably cost you as much as you have in your maxima just to make it mechanically sound. So realistly maybe 3-4 years from now it will be done. Older Q45's are a nightmare on cost's to keep them running good and mechanicaaly sound. Hell man you talk about projects under 5k bro I have that just in my motor and aftermarket tranny. But you will soon experience all this with you G50 when it takes a shit on you. And for the rest of you on here I except any of your critism on my car as good faith advise and nothing more because most of you actually have Vip cars and have had your hands dirty in building a nice car like I have. Cheers.

Now were talkin......May I suggest doing the TT300zx 4-piston calipers to go with your new rotors.....Way stronger then stock....Luckily from me my car only had 105k on it as a 90 so the knock sensors and coil packs were still good as gold. Are those new injectors i see also..very nice.

new injectors, knock sensors, under plenum hoses, harnesses, rotors, pads, and lines. got a few more pieces to round up before i have an install marathon (engine, brakes, suspension, and body to an undetermined degree).

i'm not crazy about the z32 brake upgrade because of the offset clearance of the calipers. i want to go kinda old school when i really build the g50 so i've been loooking at smaller diameter, super deep wheels (low offset/low disk = clearance issues). i might do something lke i did on my maxima and piece together something to use larger rotors but stock calipers (used j30/g50 calipers on the max though).

mine has something like 113-114k miles on it but i did my research before i bought it and understood that there was some things i was going to have to do regardless, so i bought one in less than perfect condition. i didn't see the point in paying the premium for one in excellent condition when i was going to have to dig into it anyway.

Yeah you made the right choice with getting one a little less the perfect for a cheaper price. They do turn into an ivestment almost immediately. Luckily for me have many friends who are tech's so that saved me quite a bit. I ended up re-building both heads and doing a mild-grade port and polish. Also I don't know if you thought about tryings out wes's Nico ecu but I got 38 dyno'd hp to the rear wheels from it. I'm currently running a little over 325 to the crank. The early G50's can really be beast on the track if your willing to put the time in. I apologize for what I said earlier bro about the fan-boy business. You seem like a nice guy and I was wrong to call you out like I did. And also on wheel clearence with the z brakes as long as you run something 19" or more and it has an offset less the 30 you should be good. It is well worth the money, man I can't even begin to explain to you the dramatic improvement in braking. Feels like a 2200lb car rather then 4000lb. Goodluck tou Black and I look forward to your future build pics.

Goodluck tou Black and I look forward to your future build pics.

yeah, i plan on getting the nico ecu once all this maintenance is done. that and exhaust will probably be the full extent of my go fast-mods. high performance isn't really my thing. low and slow for me.

as for wheels i'll probably run something like 18x9/10 +0 depending on what wheels i choose. once all that is said and done i may or may not do the z32 brakes, but more for looks than anything else.

the plan was just to get the g50 running dependably asap and really build it next year, but i have a problem spending money on something i really don't want knowing i'm just going to buy something else in a few months. this causes me to do stuff like buy coilovers instead of replacement shocks and front end conversions instead of a hood.

i accept your apology and offer one of my own. anybody who's encountered me in any facet of life knows i tend to be over-opinionated, but thats just because i'm passionate about what i do so it's easy for me to understand somebody who is the same way. even if we do bump heads.

i really do hope that you (and all others new to the style) take the time to learn about vip and really understand what its all about. the community and the cars will be better for it.
