F50 or 300C ?

I'm not sure how to post a poll but which car would you prefer to do a VIP project.  I'm considering the 300C because there are not many done in VIPstyle and also the entry price is lower than the F50. The downside is it may not be considered a VIPcar or have the quality of the Infiniti.  

Which car would you guys choose?

Were all years of the 300C 5x114.3 ? I read something about them being 5x112 in the first months of production.  

My plan with either car would be Air Runner + good fitting 19s or 20s with mild stretch. 8)

5x115 a 5x114.3 will work

300c, Ive seen enough vip f50s... time to do something different and american..

With a user name like you have along with 5 stars to your name you would think that you would not dare to ask a ? like this on this forum....Any ways a 300c VIP.. Please ...thats a joke..Stick with the F50 . THe F50 has more VIP in it sitting stock than a wannabe bently 300C....

I like the idea of a 300c with good fitting VIP quality wheels.  Most of them are dub style.

no 300C, C=civic. everybody and they momma's got 300, same with civics. not to bash on any of those cars though. 

Cant really comment since 300Cs are still kinda rare and unheard of here. Sounds like they are pretty played out in the states...

Imo, the F50 is quite a tall car and probably my least favourite Cima shape so judging on looks alone i would say 300C. Luxury wise i dont know as i havent sat in either an F50 or 300C. One thing to consider though - on an F50, 19"s in low offset 3-piece are not that expensive or hard to come by - and they would look great on that car. On a 300C you want 20s or 21s at least because of the mamoth arches. In Japan those sizes are still a bit of a novelty and much more rare/expensive than 19"!

i say get a magnum, put a 300 front end on it, air and 19's, go out wagon style :angel:

the f50's are hot.... to me theres not even a choice which i would go with to be a true VIP car

I would like to see a nicely done 300C, sure...but F50s make me weak in the knees so it gets 100% of my vote

You can have a nicely done up 300c, but dont compare apples to oranges VIP is VIP. It is more than just a style or wheel or a aero kit
It goes back many years and peolple in the states should not rob it of it what it really is. Its very simple, Folks in Japan have allready decided what makes and
models are true VIP Cars beeing that it is where it started. So for us to try to take american made vehicels and say or compare them to VIP it does not work..It is like trying to say 
that there are Japanese made Vehicles that are Muscle Cars..Example a done up 69 Camero to a fixed up Nissan 240sx or what not..it does not work..Not trying to bag, just food for thought. 
I am new as well to this VIP scene so correct me if I am wrong.........

I'm zion on this one..................and there isn't alot of F50's in my opinion.....

true vip platform, rare and you can have one of the meanest out there.

let the Dubbsters have their 300c.........I'd hate to see a dubber do up an F50 Dubstyle :-X

You're forgetting all the Scions, Accords, K-cars, minivans that also get done up Vip style. And the German cars.
You can't compare a 69 Camaro to a 240SX because they're not even from the same era and back in 69, Japan didn't make big muscle cars.
But in the luxury world right now, all parts of the world are competing: Germany, USA, Japan, UK...they all have high end luxury offerings that would fit into the same class, as stock cars.
So, to say that the 300C is not in the F50's league is a bit unfair, it can work fine as a Vip styled car, the only things it has going against it right now, are how played out it is in the states, and that it's not a true Vip platform, so you couldn't call it a Vip car.
No stock car is a Vip car, so when they both start out, neither is more Vip than the other, it's just that the F50 is a recognized Vip platform, and the 300C is not.

i highly doubt a 300c or any other american car can compare
to a true VIP car like F50 or a celsior....
i bet the american car will lack in quality and realiability...

The 300c can be done VIP style very well, I for one say 300c I think we need to show what we can do with our cars... and make them look something like this!

300c is a nice car, but just like cristal champagne its associated with ghettoness. especially here in detroit.

I like both............ The F50 VIPcar and the 300c VIpstyle can look HOT!! Folks have posted on here before both cars Fixed UP.

If you were in Japan I would say for sure the 300c just to be diffrent........... In your area maybe the F50 would be the Best Choice nt matter which you choose it will look nice sice your NOT a Dub type of guy ;)

[/quote] You bet? Or do you know? I would say the 300 for sure, F50 can be a DUB car too, it just depends on who owns the car, and that persons taste. Why not make a good example of a car a lot of people dislike?

Me personally, after seeing countless 300's, i'd rather get a F50. To me it's alot more rare to see compared to 300's. It might just be that i live in Cali, so i see them alot more often than a F50. But yah, me personally, get the F50.

Yeah, I agree..300c's are so played out..I'm in AZ..haven't seen F50 hooked up yet..We need to see more of the F50 and less of the 300's in the States!

Vip status aside, I just like the F50 better. I saw 1 F50 Q45 ever in this city vs. dozens upon dozens of 300Cs

i agree with your statement
if i were in japan, i would go for the 300c because american cars are popular over there.
however, over in north america, i would go for the f50. 
i havent seen many around where i live, but i have a feeling they would be done up dub style
personally, i have never been a fan of the 300c's rear. its just too boring for me

If you sit in both then your mind will be made up without asking anyone.  

I Have driven 2- 05 300's and a 06 300c and I own a F50.

but you also have to put in consideration the price of labor and maintance and replacement parts on both where a q45 alternator would cost $600 usd a 300c would cost about $200.  

The F50 is far much more car then the 300. I was comparing a 02 cima to an 06 300 so keep that in mind as well.

u bring up the bose stereo like its a good thing.

Last I checked, Bose was ahead of Boston Acoustics as far as quality.

the F50 is a diamond in the rough.

the oem front bumper kills it but once you thicken out the front bumper, it will look completely different.

u should save up for the best out there, so u won't be sorry in the future!!! ...as what everyone says. GO GET THE F50!!! so much i see of the 300C, i have seen a (only one) nicely done (VIP) ever since i took a step in this trend/lifestyle. but then it's just my opinion, it's ur call ;)

F 50 for sure, the interior would need a little help but overall...what a great VIP car!

really? im curious of your source. last [i]I[/i] checked, bose has been using inferior materials and outdated tech for many years now. im in no way saying the boston system in the 300 sounds good. the only thing i was referring to was the fact that bose is garbage. plain and simple. what i can commend bose on doing is setting up their systems in a way that masks all their imperfections so well and their ability to dupe the public so well.

Thank you for opening my eyes. I honestly though Bose was good stuff...guess I fell for the marketing.

If your going American, Get a cadillac DTS or DHS and use your imagination. Those models will always have more of a Vip feel to them then a 300c if thats the style your are trying to achieve plus you wont see many VIP styled cadillac's.

i would do 300c with 24's auto couture stimulous-ex, airrunner it, cut it up to lay the shit on the ground.

Is this a serious question on a vip forum? The F50 q45 is on top of the VIP chain along with the LS. The 300 is on top of the dub chain along with the magnum and charger. Your call

Its a question I posed for discussion.  I put the question out there to get opinions.  

I'd be interested to see more VIPstyled 300Cs besides the autofashion one with veilside kit.  No one said it's a VIP platform. 

god forbid you even bring up a "non traditional" car on a vip forum.

i think people are jealous.
