man nokturnal has the ugliest cars everrr. i see them in magazines and im like...jesus..do they try to make the takiest, ugliest cars?? im from a shop that does tons of conversions and show cars that are not my flavor, but never are they so full of just randomness and tackiness. and im not trying to hate! i know out there people are more into that shit. i just think alot of the cars would look better kept more clean, since they do have super nice work put into them. that white gs looks good thi. sick bodywork. but green stripes on the wheels and green mesh like a high school kids honda?? no thanks. thats what im talkin about with nokturnal

Its different to see it in magazines and what not. To appreciate it, you will just have to see them in person. Nokturnal cars are clean. The BENTLEX has a unique scheme going with it but I wouldn't necessarily put the TV on the back trunk. Color-wise I'm digging the white with green because it makes the car look different.

wow ... some harsh shit said! unnessesary... the work put in the cars are superior. and onefat is right about the stock colors. Alot of the magazines have to retouch the paint of the car on photoshop to make it stand out.

i didnt mean what i said to be "harsh" its my opinion lots of the cars are overly done and tacky IMO. and i do know a thing or 2. We had cars featured in SEMA, on covers and many features, won nopi nationals with every car we took down one year...and didnt go back cause its full of tacky junk haha. most recently see widebodyq's car on the cover of rides. we did the suspension. i totallyyy understand the show scene, our neon orange cavalier we did 7 years ago has been in like 5 magazines, in sema, on tons of car show flyers, and had a million sponsors. mainly because there wasnt ever a laid out cavalier on 20's with lambo doors back then. but i still thought it was tacky and ugly haha. i just feel with nokturnal, some are bastardized by being too overdone. but hey whatever gets you a 5 dollar trophy must be good right??

I have seen a few Nokturnal cars in magazines and show photos. While some of them are not my taste I must say that all of the work seems to be top notch and the effort and balls taken to do some of the conversions is needed now. Most folks slap on the same kit and rims as other and follow what has already been done. it's nice to see some folks that push the envelope. Personally I just think the paint jobs on some of the cars they do is a bit much....But that is there style so I'm not gonna knock them on it...
i'll admit, some of our cars are extremely over done:shrug:.... but someone gotta be a trend setter...

I called him with my original design and all he did was cut the bumper for me and sent it to me and then after the magazines and photos from Sema he decided to start mass producing the bumper with the Altezza cut out headlights then he did it to some other Integras out there and then he took a picture of my car from Import Racer and posted it on his site as a JT car. here is a few pictures of it. I guess... I'll put it this way: the actual work done is impressive, because from what I've seen, it's all great quality, awesome finish etc. But the cars are like caricatures and some are just outright bad ideas. I loved that Benlex until I saw the green grilles, and that TV in the trunk. It just ruins the whole thing. I just don't get it, it's like the cars don't stop at "nice" they keep going and going and going until they end up terribly tacky looking. That's my opinion on it. Not my style at all, but good on you for having fun with cars and at least doing things properly.

I liked the green on the white of the bentlex. It's like if you are going all out why use a bland color to offset? The only thing that kills it for me was the tv in the trunk. But impressive none the less.

The "dub-style" would be alright if they did it tastefully. Does everything have to look like a flamboyant rapper drives it? I can appreciate the quality of work that some of these cars display, but the concepts are way off my palate!
