it looks like it takes the jdm bumper lights. can someone confirm this?

and can anyone tell me for sure what bulbs these lights use?

hopefully daygo or someone who has had some hands on experience with this bumper can help me out!

thanks guys!

If someone is going to hack it up and make it look different then good. However once they start calling it something it is not then we have a problem.

I mean, I like what you did with the fogs, but why not support the company who designed that kit? I bought real Auto Couture and I'm not a rich man. I also have produced fiberglass and c/f parts and know how much work goes into it with shaping it from scratch with foam, clay, scrapers, and shapers. It's not easy and it really takes a lot of time..it doesn't take much effort to create a plug off another bumper and make copies...that's the gay part.

Don't take this as an attack on you...but really think next time about those who did the real work. Put yourself in their shoes...

i can afford the kit...not the issue, for me, i get bored, you get an expensive kit, you are kind of stuck with that look...i like to change up, just because...i can go on and on about this..and it will never end...and who wants to hack a 3000 dollar kit that's super inflated in price, if you have it like that then so be it, but most people dont, most people dont even know better because they have never even been to Japan...most cases your paying almost double...aside from JP which is expensive as is, Kbreak max 190,000 yenjamins, dolce, 170000 yenjamins, JP 320,000 yenjamins, aimgain 190,000 yenjamins...you have to keep in mind, im used to going to junkyard...buying a admiration used kit F/S/S/R w/fogs y32 for 15000-30000 yenjamins...so what you speak of is not relevant to me..im not on the offense here, just making my point...Japan spoils you so my mindset is a lil different...its about the car and look...and im all the way VIP platform and all

on average 115 yenjamins to the dollar

So you're all about vip...but knock-offs are ok in your book? I'm just trying to understand your angle here. I am modifying every single piece of my Auto Couture aero ..it's part of the whole process to me. I want to personalize my car, to me the car should be built as an extension of the respective owner. And having real deal parts is important to me. To me you're selling yourself short and screwing over the companies who are the driving force of what we love. You think Version Select gives a shit? They just want your money..they don't care about you. Also, you think you're the only one who's ever lived in Japan? It's very relevant to me..ask your friends. Have I bought stuff from Up Garage, Parts-Off, and Second Hand Autobacs...yes. But they were not knock-offs..it's true it does spoil you to an extent, but I support those who support what I love. Think about it...

that's super inflated in price

i look at it like this; the creator sets the price. if an artist paints a painting they set the price at the gallery. of course an unauthorized reprint (read: counterfeit, boot leg, fake, knockoff, etc.) is going to be less. it's not that the original is overpriced, it's that the duplicate is under priced because it is a copy. judge the fake by the real, not the other way around.

Japan spoils you so my mindset is a lil different

it's a shame that you were spoiled by price rather than quality goods. if i drink patron and corona at a corner bar everyday for a nice price i'm not going to go to the club and b***h about the price and i sure as hell am not going to drink well tequila and $.25 cent drafts.

---

(directed at nobody in particular) i think its funny how the general consensus of this forum contradicts itself.

platforms are holy, sportmaxx sucks, and v:s is acceptable. so basically; you have to have a car that is included in the ancient vip scriptures, and don't skimp out on the wheels (no cheater lips either wink wink), but feel free to throw on a knock off kit.

personally, i think the v:s thing will play itself out very soon. you guys are going to get tired of looking like 20 other y33s in the u.s. the only real victom will be ac. they'll never sell another y33 kit because nobody wants to look like the other 20 cars rocking knockoffs cause they were cheap.

Just so i can get a piece of this. I really don't care what you choose to put on Your Car, but I had a thought and here it goes. I never understood (till recently) why the hell someone would purchase an expensive engagement ring, you can't sell it for what you paid, can't shelter you from weather, and can't eat it when your hungry...etc But you know, it's not about any of those things. And your not even the one wearing it. Basically, it says something about you. To every person that sees it wheather your around or not. Shows that you take pride in value, and work hard for things you want. Shoot most of the time ppl won't even know what they are looking at, but you do, and fuck your friends...but they know as well.

Exactly, at the end of the day you have to live with the choices you make and if they make you feel good.

But to me, there's more to it than that when it comes to knock-offs. My Auto Couture aero is being customized as well...but I wouldn't buy a knock-off even if it was available to do the same thing that I'm doing to the real thing.

I know how it feels to be in the Middle East, I was there for Desert Storm and Desert Shield (damn it..showing my age!) and it does toughen your skin...I respect you for that 33flavors, no matter what you buy. But I guess some of us just have higher standards and respect for the creators when it comes to building cars. So I'll politely agree to disagree...
