Using EASYSTREET struts and air system

was wondering which way to turn to soften it. also curious wat setting you guys are on for front and rear.



i also need help on adjust the controller so that when i turn off my car, it bottoms out, and when i turn it on, it pumps up to ride height. (easy street autopilot digital controller)

If you are looking at the dampening dial softer is to the left, stiffer is to the right.  We normally recommend setting 3 or 4.  
 
There is no way to set the system up to automatically deflate when the car is shut off.  Too many people were shutting their cars off with wheels turned and ruining fenders so we took that feature out.  Let me know if you have anymore questions:biggthumpup:

when you say "3 or 4" is that with 1 being the softest, and 9 the hardest?


also, how is the ride at 3/4? im looking for a very smooth lexus like ride, but not get too much body roll.

also it recommends not riding at above 120PSI in the front, but i find that 120 is lower than i would like in some circumstances. Is 127-130 PSI ok?

Yes, that is 1 being the softest.  3/4 should give you a nice ride without giving up any handling.  You can ride above 120psi, but you will not be able to use the ride height feature.

what do you mean by that and what is ride height feature?

when i am driving at 120-125. for the most part it wont allow me to go higher.


theres a lot of other things weird with my system but not sure if you can tell without seeing it. i might have to record it in action.


- also, are the bags suppose to have noise when the car goes up and down to adjust to the road? i dont mind the noise since i listen to the radio loud enough to silence it, but i just want a piece of mind knowing that the sound is normal and it is nothing i did wrong.


-regarding the issue about the pressure readingon my digital system. this is just for the fronts. sometimes when i push the up button, it will just from say 20-140 in a second, but the car shocks arent moving anywhere. same with when i lower it. i have to mess around with the rears and fronts individually to get it pumping, it takes a couple tries.


and yes, the car suspension has been automatically tuned by the ECU

also, would you suggest running a stiffer adjustment in the front, than in the rear?

for example 3 for the rear, and 4 for the front?

Cool, good to see you on here Jeremy!  Jeremy is a great rep for Easystreet / Airlift.  Sorry I missed this thread..but glad Jer saw it.

As far as the stiffness of the struts..that's a personal preference and also depends on how low you're going to be rolling.  If you plan to ride very low, you'll want them to be as stiff as possible so you don't bottom out the aero as easily.  Otherwise find your comfort zone..it's never been just one set setting that everyone has liked.  So dabble around and see what works best for your given ride height and situation.

I dont understand, you have all this stuff installed in your car and dont know how it functions and what features it has?:sad: Who installed it for you? 
 
The perfect ride for me (or anyone else) may not feel nice to you. Only you can determine what your 'sweet spot' is.

it is a digital system and i can get it to work, but have to mess around. its weird. the readings are confusing at times. it can say 140 PSI, but the struts wont be filled at all.
