Finally got some wheels......

I finally got some wheels in for my 740i. They look a lot better in person as the lips are bigger than they appear. For some reason the bezel is beveled and  reflects in the chrome making the lips look smaller. They are Maya mc1 3pc 20x9 and 20x10. Can't wait to put them on this weekend. If they don't fit the way I want them to, I'll sell them and have to start all over again......

they look nice, dont think ive seen those wheels in all silver before actually!
 
i hope they fit alright man, you're pretty keen just sell and start again haha at least if that is the case you can take some measurements and get it right the next time round!
 
i know what you mean with the reflections too, i had some Work VS-XX with 5.5" and 6" lips but the whole face and bolts reflected onto the dish and made them look like they had 1/2 as much unless you were looking from an angle..!

Yeah I actually wanted some Leon Hardiritt "orden" wheels, but couldn't find them in my bolt pattern. I tried one of them on tonight and the lip doesn't come all the way to the edge of the fender like I wanted it to. But then again it might be because I don't have tires mounted and the car was up on a jack. I think I might wind up selling them (I got that feeling...lol). 

I love these wheels and hope I don't have to sell.

lol yeah sorry to say if they dont sit flush up in the air then they're unlikely to go flush once lowered. that said, they do look small when un-tyred so once you get some tyres on them they may look better.

I might get some tires this weekend, but I'm not sure if I'll have time to mount them this weekend. I have the valve covers off of my car and I'm not sure if I'll have it all back together. I'll try and post pics if I can. 

I've also been looking into an air-ride for my bimmer. Do you have any suggestions????

Maybe some spacers would do the trick what are the offsets on them???

fronts are 11 and rears are 23 (offsets). If I were to run spacers, do I need to get extended wheels studs?

I wouldnt think so try a 10mm and see what you got...

15mm and 25mm spacers are bolt on and will have new studs so you won't need to get extended wheel studs.  

I think some 10mm have studs fixed in them as well..

Leon does custom PCD btw.  Just have to pay more, those look nice though.

Thanks guys I didn't know that I could get the "ordens" but I guess its too late now unless someone wants to buy these here =).....J/K I know my post count is not high enough yet and I don't think anyone would give me $2500 for these anyway.

hello all just got the car back about a month ago and I'm still working on wheels. I started working on the car myself but my job has picked up a few new accounts so that has made me realllly busy. I started out working on it myself but was forced to take it to a shop because of lack of time to work on it. 

I called Maya a few weeks ago to see if they can change the barrels on the rears for a deeper lip, but no such luck. I want to make the rear wheels a little more aggressive as there are no E38's here in Charlotte that look like this.

Oh well I'll keep you guys posted.

believe me, nobody wants this more than me but I want to do it right the 1st time. I don't like to do things over. Not to mention that I'm not a baller like some guys on here so I have to spend wisely. I'm trying to find someone who could make the rear wheels wider (add to the outer rear barrels). But so far I'm having no luck. I'm also trying to find an air setup for this car and I'm having no luck.

just go UAS on stock shocks if anything. some venders here have it around the $2000 range.

I was lookin for a setup that's made for my car but no luck yet. Do u think I'll have a problem with the uas?
