mirror tint with navigation/ green tint question

so the previous owner of my car had mirror tint for the sides, but didnt do the rear, he had the rears black. i would say 20%. he said the installer told him the mirror tint in the rear would corrupt and deflect signals incoming from the satellite. 

is this true? 

i want to probably finish the mirror tint, or if possible find a green tint film that matches it.

the mirror tint doesnt look bad at all. it looks pretty nice. in the daytime its green with a good reflection, and at night its dark.


also, i have a navi antennae, and not glass antennae, so would that make any difference?



ill have pics of the mirror tint on the side so someone can recommend a green tint for me.

be sure that antenna is for your nav.  if it is the mirror tint will interfere with your am reception, a little fm, a little cell phone reception, your home link, and tpm's if you have those.

its a TL.

im probably just remove tint. anyone know a good cheap place in OC?
