will the price of forged wheels be dropping ?
it looks like the price of forged wheels will be dropping very soon, everyone seems to be offering them.
from the looks of things, all you need are barrels (standard universal), blank face disks and a CNC machine-computer.
what u guys think ?

Nope. The price of Aluminum has gone up 30% this year... so far.
There are a few whores out there trying to compete on price,
but the quality guys who have been in the game for a while will
stick to their guns. When your selling wheels for Porsches, Bentleys,
Aston Martins, Ferraris, etc., price isn't that much of an issue for these
buyers.
For the guys that are financially stretched making their A4 or 3-series payments,
they will buy wheels on price alone.
I get a little pissed when people think getting into the wheel business is easy.
There is a lot more to making wheels than hitting a switch on a CNC machine.
