How are donks modified to fit such large rims?

I saw this but was wondering how they raised the suspension and how they extended the driveshaft and what modifications were needed to fit these.    I'm sure even tie rods would have to be extended and brake lines.

LoL!!  they use truck suspension parts. sum are pretty complex

they make full bolt on lift kits for them things too.

Honestly, I wouldn't care if those wheels cost me a dollar. Lifting a regular sedan car and putting over sized wheels on it amounts to 8 shades of uber gay. :truestory:

well he spent half that because the right side of the car is different rims.    Are these rims for real? or is this photoshop?

saw that car driving on 22 FWY like 2 months ago, that "thing" is so ... FUGLY, but we all have different taste

I have to say, coming from the south where they do those cars right, (Not just raising them up, but stuffing monster motors in them) I grew to like them...especially after watching several swapped civics get their asses handed to them by something sitting high on 24s.

Fun to watch them clown around, but they look incredibly difficult to drive.

Big wheels on Japanese cars though, i don't know...seems like a west coast thing.

cam anyone explain why the right side of the car rims are not the clear type like what we see on the left side?   There has got to be a safety issue with those.

so that one side looks different from the other... like 2 different cars... i got 2 different finish rims on my bagged truck, people think theres another truck that looks exactly like my truck only with different rims... drifters do it, some VIP guys do it, guys in the sport truck scene do it... i bet one rim costs a pretty penny....

We should all be very very grateful of the donks. 10 years ago if you had rims on your car [b]you were a drug dealer[/b]. Around here even 5 years ago having rims meant the cops were on your ass all the time. Now that donks are around having 19's or 20's doesn't mean shit, cops could care less.
