wheels

Hey, i'm new to VIP'n and i wanna get some rims for my 91 previa RWD. so far all i have done to my van are curtains, apexi replacement box filter, and a new head unit.  I don't wanna go too big but something wit hecka dish. so i'm settle for the BSA 333's. They are 17x7, bolt pattern is 5x100 or 5x114.3, and offset is +40mm.  I was wondering if this would fit my van properly and if i need any spacers or or anything else. i just wanna get some input before i commit to getting them.

Re: wheels

You want something with "hecka dish" yet you are going with such weak wheel fitments? If you are after dish, but not willing to go wide or low offset, then dont bother at all. IMO seeing a wheel with 1" or less of dish is a waste and makes the wheel look smaller in diameter with no benefit.

Re: wheels

If you are going to the VIP route, I would get some low offsets. I know that if you do, you are going to have to do a lil mod for your rear door to open more out. I tried to sell my spoke style rims from my 130 Crown when I was in Japan. My friend had an Estima and the shop that was going to put the rims on said that he would had to extend his rear door out to have the rims to work or he couldn't open the rear door.

Re: wheels

ssr vienna kries. these are the coolest dish wheels aroud :) these are 18x9+24 and 18x10+24 (and have multiple bolt patterns but i know for sure ones 5x114) and are in good shape (some small curbage and wear and tear but not bad at all). its a great fitment because it will  fit lots of cars. they also have tirs that are in ok shape(unless your going with crazy camber, you'd want to flip the rears) the price is 1500 +shipping firm...here are some pics

Re: wheels

BSA 333 eh...not real Vip suited imo, plus it doesn't look like they come with any sort of real dish. You could do much better, like Shawn
