Help Wheels Gods
Looking to get some tires mounted and looking for a brand to STREECH. What sizes do you recomend? Daily driver.
Specs on wheels
18X9 f
18X10 r
offset 28 29
215/35/18 f
235/35/18 r
Can I go more with out it being too crazy/unsafe?
New to streched tires. Be gentle.

Well, here's my setup
19x8.5
215/35/19
19x9.5
225/35/19
The fronts arent too bad, but the rears are pretty stretched..... I think your numbers are good. I think anything less than a 225 on your 10" rears would be too much stretch. Unless youre trying to make a boso IS. haha

What brand tires are you using?
For some reason my shop says they can't get falken Fk's in 235/35/18 for the rear.
Would 245/35/18 still give me a good stretch?

Normally a 245/35/18 tire would be enough stretch for a 10" wide wheel but Falken FK452's run alittle big (they fit like a 255/35/18).
If you cant get the size you want, go with a different brand.
Hancook 104 is another cheap tire with decent thread ware that stretches nicely. Good luck

I went with a 215/40/18 for the fronts and 225/40/18 for the rears.
Mine are 18x9 and 18x10. Pretty nice stretch..and I used Falken Ziex912, they are cheap and good stretch!

Falken FK452 is great for stretch.
Falken Ziex 512 is good too for DD.
I'm currently on Toyo T1R. Treadwear ain't bad and it stretches nicely. Havn't really raced on them.

id look at tire thread life since these are going on a 4door?? then brand and pattern... im not a fan of federals or hancook but i understand they are very affordible
Longer thread life is what you would probably want, so id knock the high performance tires out of there.
my friend just sent me a picture of his tire stretch.. 18x9.5 with a 215/35

too extreme for my blood, says he can stack 4 quarters in the bead lol

Hello,
here is mine.
18x9 with 215/40/18 Falken 912
18x10 with 225/40/18 Falken 912
The dunlops Fm901 are discontinued I believe, and they do stretch more than normal, kinda similar to the Falken Azenis ST115.
I hope this helps, I would suggest go with a 40 series, so that you can still have some meat there when your driving..."more cusion for the bumps" haha.
regards.

Who said you can't get 235/35ZR18 FK452s?
When I get to work I'll check that, I'm sure we can get them.
I'll let you know when I find out. That's way more fun than selling winter tires.

Aha,
I kind of assumed they made that size, but it turns out they don't:
This is what Falken has for 35-series 18"
215/3518 84 2819-3814
225/3518 87Y 2819-5803
245/3518 88Y 2819-5804
255/3518 94Y 2819-5801
265/3518 97Y 2819-5805
275/3518 95Y 2819-5808
285/3518 97Y 2819-5809
They actually skip the 235 entirely.
