Pics of my GS3: Refinished Koenig WRVs

I bought a set of Koenig WRV's a few months ago from a friend that were curbed pretty bad and some parts of the paint on the face were peeling (I found out later it had corrosion).  Here's what it looked like on my car before I got them refinished:

I've decided to get them all redone at SABS (a local wheel whop) which entails fixing all the curb rashes on all four wheels, repolishing the lips and machining the face to brushed, which was a surprise to me since I didn't know they were able to convert a painted face to a brushed finish.  Art (the owner) and his crew does great work and stand behind their work.  I've taken my previous wheels there (HRE, DPE, BBS) and will not take my wheels any where else (I took my wheels one time to Rollos <-- that place is a joke)

man... i'm going to sabs, ppl have mentioned them to me but i haven't seen there work before. top notch.got the conact? how much did they hit you for? wheels look so sick now. :biggthumpup:

loving the black roof. not so much feeling the rims. maybe it would look better with a bigger drop?

I left the caps off.  I don't really like the way it looks with it.

Contact out there is Art (owner) and Jeff (the guy the quotes the prices).  Just tell Jeff that Edwin referred you and he will hook it up.  If you want to check out their work, just swing by the shop and talk to Art.  He'll show you what he can do.  I also took my SUV over there to get the exhaust tips fitted and mounted.

If one shop says it can't be done, I take it straight to SABS and they get it done.

Any bigger drop and I can't get up my driveway :)

Looks really good.  I wasn't really feeling the wheels when they had the painted face but now they look great.

The new finish is fantastic.  Just as an FYI, you should be able to polish the center sections of the centercaps, to get them glossy and clear again.  I've had to do that to a few of my older SSR wheels.
