wheel fitment

hey guys I tried to look on here for some answers but I couldn't find what I still need some help I have a '98 Lexus GS and I want to put a set of rims on my car I want to do it VIP style what size rim is the best for my car and what is also the safest. I also was wondering if you stretch the tires on how much miles do you usually get out of the tires I would like to have about a 5" lip in the back and a 3" lip in the front I also plan to lower the car either with coilovers or Air suspension.

I would like to go as aggresive as I could possibly go but still have a safe and comfortable ride.

go on vip 101 and read the section about wheel fitment. imo, i would go with 19's or 20's on air.
