its different from other scenes. you can fit alot of people, its not loud. it turns heads in a good way. not ghetto. and the family can enjoy the ride too.

i only just got in to it and im just about alone here in Perth in Aus.

i like it though because i get compliments from everyone about my car from mates g/f's, to my younger brother and his mates, bosses at work, old guys walking their dogs past my house, mums at the shops, guy at the servo, etc etc

seems to be young to old, enthusiastic to just mildly interested, since its a luxury type car. such a different attitude to my S13.

The local community is so small I can't bring myself to classify it as a scene. I'm very passionate about cars and really admire them. When I see a well put together car, i just like to stare at it from different angles. I appreciate the smaller details more than the larger ones, cuz i feel that those things were placed for someone like me. To the ppl that own these vehicles, i applaud and thank god i'm not the only car nut. BTW although i seemed very subtle when you see my glareing at your ride, i'm really thinking about, if any, what more can be done and how i can "Get them keys off of ya!"

really in all honesty, its made it alot easier to grow up and get away from toys. when i got around to buying another car (the lexus) i had more than a few comments from a few friends that arent in the car scene. all of them said its "about time i stop driving the little toy car around". not that i care what ppl think, but im a grown ass man with a grown up job. i dont like the fact that thats how people see those cars. i cant change their minds, but i must say theres alot more respect given when u drive a nicer car. i have bought a few other "toy cars" since then, cause thats what got me started in the scene and i dont think that will ever leave my soul, but i wont be dailying them...ever again. i dont know what any of that has to do with anyhting i kinda just kept typing.

ill stay on VSC for racinstylez post...we all friends here...although there is a poster or 2 that dont post very often i miss seeing around here =(

I think what keeps me here is my internet connection...or magic. Whatever has the greatest hit points per roll. WAT???

Haha..I just love it. I don't care if some people find it trendy or if some people think it's being ruined by idiots who just want to be a part of something new. Who cares..my love for it won't change due to anyone else's thoughts or opinions, or lack of fashion sense....DISCO DISCO!!!

Im in love with the things they do in Japan and the whole lifestyle in general

I love . . .

. . . How every part inside, outside and under the car, can be subject to being chopped up to get the vehicle a couple mm's lower.

. . . How the smallest details are so well thought of and planned out to complete the look that they are trying to achieve.

. . . How some cars can appear like a modern stock OEM vehicle even if the car is over 15 years old.

. . . How every panel of the car can be heavily modified without the use of one aftermarket part.

. . . How people take the most reliable cars on the road and turn them into the opposite.

. . . How cars change their looks every season just cause they can.

. . . How there are so many cars but no two are exactly alike because people respect individuality.

that not every one here is 16 and just here cuz it's the cool thing to do.

i think the popularity will rise and fall within the vip scene, but all the fakers will always go away cuz lets face it, this hobby/lifestyle is really expensive!

An almost infinatly higher level of maturity than the other scenes. Tons of mutual respect. You can go to a meet and not get your car jacked like in the Honda scene.

All in all, just a much more chill enviroment.

Plus, what is better than having an old asian lady in her 70's, driving an 07' BMW 7 Series, tell me that I have a nice car. Oh yeah.

i honestly like the practicality of having a big bodied sedan. tired of cramming people in my old 240 to go somewhere or drive out in 4 seperate cars where parking is limited. comfort and reliability. plus all the positive attentions not bad either.
