In dash Dilema....

SO my dad needs bluetooth, navigation, and dvd audio capabilities:


So the choices so far are:


Pioneer AVIC Z2

Pioneer AVIC Z3

Pioneer AVIC F700BT

Pioneer AVIC FB90BT

Pioneer AVIC F900BT

Eclipse AVN-6620


What have you used and what is better to have all those three....

the avic Z series has a really long boot up time.  i don't think it supports dvd-audio either. it also doesn't support burnt dvd's full of mp3's, either :(

i just installed a pioneer avic-d3 for my brother. kit came with the bluetooth add on. the only draw back is you need to insert a dvd for gps.

DVD Audio is a thing of the past... like laser disks and HD disks... they tried to push the technology but failed because many recording artists didn't want to spend the money in releasing their music in that format... 
 
How I know??? My car came with that capability from factory... and I can't find decent music (my taste) in that format... But plenty of classical music and elevator music in that format though :pat:
