How many VIP mag's do you guys pick up yearly?

I'm talking about VIP car and VIP style from Japan.  How many magazines do you guys get on average?

i havent bought one since the begining of the year.  use to buy them religiously since 04 till 06. the only one ive bought since then was the vip meet coverage. thats the only ones i buy now. the old mags were much better. less ads more rides

yeah they seem to have more ads now but is that bad? or is it better if they were equally balanced? I haven't picked one up since the beginning of the year either and I felt bad, but at least i know i'm not the only one now hahahahaha :smiley-rofl:

I get about 6-10 a year.  I wish I was dedicated enough to get all 24 (12 vip car, 12 vip style).

i get about 6 too. every other month, and then which cover car i like better.:shrug:

i get all 24 a year... 12 vipcar, 12 vipstyle.... im gonna have to cancel my subscriptiion cuz it hurts the wallet. i also get my air frieghted to me instead of boat so i get it when the people in japan get it.. lol.  funny thing is, i dont know where half of them are anymore.. friends come over, i leave them in the back of my car, leave em at my GF's house...

Nowhere to buy them locally... When I go to LA I stop by the bookstore in little tokyo and stock up on whatever they have. Think I've read 5-6 this year LOL

I've bought both each month for the past 6 months or so, but I'm sure it will not continue forever. I go through phases with things like that, I immerse myself into things so much that I get burnt after a minute.

Dude, somebody should start making a VipUSA magazine that has all the coverage and articles on vip rides in the US.  Or is there one already?  I would definitely buy it.  I know everybody on this whole forum would subscribe to it.  I would totally start it up if I live in California.

last year I bought like 8 mags, so I think its around 8-10 mags a year.  It would make things so much easier if someone would hook it up with a subscription.  Im subscriped to IT, SS, etc...  Its just I dont have time every month to go online and purchase the mags...

SUBSCRIPTION...wink wink at VSC vendors...

this was mentioned like 2 years ago. vip is not big enough for a mag here in the states. what would be good though is that they have a translated version of VIPstyle or car mag

24 as well..subscriptions.

I brought 2 home from Japan last year (Nov 07 issues) and got one 2 month old one (July 08) for $2 at Mitsuwa a few weeks back.  I'm in Japan now, and I'll bring 1 or 2 with me.  

Y'all know how Option has model specific book/zines? I saw a Crown VIP book/zine thing in Shinjuku yesterday, too bad they didn't have a Cima one cause I'd have got that for sure, it was like 300 pages of nothing but sweet ass Crown's.

never owned one.and probally looked through one mag in my life.im broke.

For a while i was going to mira mesa monthly, but then gas shot up and i stopped. Now i just cycle through my old ones and give them away when ever the oppurtunity arises..

ive been getting them monthly, not sure how much longer that will be, an idea is making them in English!!

I did all 24 last year but this year not one I know I suck but it was a bi!@# to get them here ...hey Mike (elpres) help yo boy out...lol

I've got 5 total.  All brought back by friends visiting Japan.  I have been very tempted to buy some of elpresidente during his moving sale

i think since the begining of the year ive bought a total of 6-8 mags. i MIGHT be buying a few more but...as of now thats my avg lol.

i think i have about 5 now, i tend to like VIPstyle better than VIPcar, i got both a few months back.
 
i like them but agree a lot of the ads are repeated and a bit annoying, at first i was super interested scouring every advert for cool stuff, but now ive got wheels, mufflers, visors, some chrome things etc so not much of it is relevant to me anymore!
 
shame they're so exxy to get over to me here in Aus, costs like $17usd per magazine which is about $25AUD. So i've already spent like $125AU on mags haha But i try to buy one every couple of months (normally takes me that long to cycle through the current one i have a few times).
