I need help with offset...

I posted this on the SC300/400 section of ClubLexus, but I haven't gotten any responses. I want to fit 17x9.5 +15 all around(I know this is a small wheel, but I am getting the wheels for a really good price). If you look at this thread http://clublexus.com/forums/showpost.php?p=2170219&postcount=1 The owner has 18x9 +15 all around. Will a 17" wheel stick out an additional 1/4" or will the setup look similar to the link I posted? Also, I am planning to run 235/40 in the front and 245/40 or 255/40 out back.
