man i know im gona piss someone off asking this....

well im sure you guys seen these pix before! i personally like the rims and i know this guy is running an adapter like i think bippus brother was on his Q with the 7 series rims. Now what id like to know on this is what are the specs on these rims and adapters? IF ANYONE KNOWS?? so lets say the rims are a 25 OS and the adapter is a 7 does that make it a 32 os? im sorry for asking such a stupid question but somewhere i read someone was arguing the offset would be lower because of the adapter. im still a noob so forgive me :( id figure the offset would be higher.

+25mm offset and adding a 7mm adapter means +18mm offset (effective). Offset is indeed lowered when adding spacers/adapters.

high offset = wheels closer to the car
low offset = wheels further away from the car

I don't know the specs of those wheels/adapters. But to answer your offset question, as you push the wheel outwards the offset decreases. So hypothetically a +25mm offset wheel with a 7mm spacer would make the effective offset +18.

yeah, very nice wheels. but i doubt the adapter is a 7mm, 7 mm could barely get a new stud mounted onto it. chances are its at least 20mm and up.if it is indeed 25mm for the wheels, than chances are the new offset with the adapter are something along the lines of +5 and down to negatives. goodluck. autthentic m6 wheels are not cheap, and if i remember correctly, the rears are something like 18*10.5 or something while fronts are 18*9. something staggered.

You gotta run a 25mm adapter to clear the lugs/studs of the GS hub.

yeah, youll at least need probably a 25mm adapter to cover the studs. as for the size, they actually might just be 19. if you see the lettering 'style' in the header, its usually the knockoffs. goodluck. they are expensive.

WOW i've seen that picture 50 times and up untill now I NEVER noticed how they did the lower chrome on that car. That looks GOOD! note taken.

You can get replica BMW M5/6/7 wheels on ebay for like $900.

ya my spacers were originally 25mm but i had them shaved to 17mm. I was told by the machine shop that was the safest thickness that it could be shaved down to. i habe not been able to find anything less. if someone finds it please fill me in lol..
