WTF? There is a reason SEGA is now only a third party developer.

SELECT start is for 2 players on contra.

Dude, Contra is definitely FTMFW.  But yeah, I use that code, yeah I cheat, so what!

Caoboy, you sir are correct on that code. And BTW, Segas systems were always better spec wise, what killed them after the 16-bit Genisis was the crappy and mismanaged advertisment they had, or should I say lacked. The Sega Saturn and Dreamcast in the USA were doomed from the start, however still remain arguably the best systems made in the Japan. I have both Japanese systems, and the 2D games blew the doors off anything Nintendo had at the time, hands down. Believe it or not, there are programers still making games for the Japanese Dreamcast of which I have a stack full of the games.
 
And +1 on the comment of Nintendo telling Sony to take a hike when offerend a deal to make a CD based unit (the Super Disc) to add on to the Super Famicom (Super NES in the US). Nintendo screwed that up. And now we have the Playstation.
