is the touring model more desirable? if it is, why? what exactly are the differences? besides black headlamps.

I have a q45t. if you think about it, we all have the same goals, its just what we start with is sometimes different. in this scene, everything is changed out anyway. SO technically you could start out with a base 97 and change what you want on it from the later models. like the headlights, the grille the trunk, the analog clock and so on and so on. actually, to answer you question in a shorter manner, all T means is a little more electronics... heated seats, active suspension, headlights, rear sun shade, and a wing. whoop-t-doo
Heated seats are money...I'd want that for sure.

but yeah man, heated seats are off the hook. the active suspension and the lighting are some of those things that just make owning that car [I]that [/I]much more desirable. it's not something (stupid -imho) like leather covered vents in the porsche cayenne, it's something that directly affects how you (and others to a lesser degree) feel about owning/driving that car.
and, for some, it also creates a small connection between you and another person in a q45 (sans the 't'). the odds are they're going to notice the "t" emblem, and you know they're going to wonder "man, should I have got that?" lol. not as many people feel that way about, err... leather vents (i'm sure there are some). you know when somebody is "into" their car, and you both notice each other when on the road, and you both try to see what the other person has modded as [B]nonchalantly [/B]as possible ('cause you don't wanna gas up someone you haven't spoken to =))retrospex;200139 wrote:lol...

haha... that is true... didn't think of it like that... but like i said, when it comes down to it... everything is changed out in the end... you might get a better deal without the T... but i found it to be worth it anyway... even though i debadged mine. haha.haven't used my heated seats yet!
