A few questions

I've been researching and reading up on a couple of threads in the suspension forum and I was curious about a few things. Perhaps I could gain some answers to them here.

First of all, I was looking at the UAS thread and I was curious if any of the traditional platforms had a rear air-suspension from the factory. If so, for those who have switched to UAS or any other full air suspension, what did you have to do? My current ride has air in the rear and standard in the front- very similar to the Lincoln continental (well the rear at least). I've been trying to figure out a way to go about setting up an idea for a full air suspension.

Secondly, if the former idea is out of the question, I have heard from a rep at Tein that they could do a custom coilover setup based on any specs which I can come up with. My main problem is that I don't know the spring rates (I drive a ford Windstar). I was thinking that the rates may be similar to those of the 2gen USDM Odyssey and was wondering if any owners had those specs (or if someone can assist me in finding out the rates for the Windstar since I am quite clueless as to where to look). I don't think the rear-suspension is self-leveling though, if that is any help.

Thirdly, I've been trying to find a decent set of wheels for it. The pattern is 5x108 which pretty much limits my options between the Lincoln LS or the Audi S60 (IIRC). However, with the Windstar being FF, I believe that the rim selections will be even slimmer (I would like to go with 18s or 19s). Stance seems to be a big focus here, and rather than go through trial and error, I'd like to get any suggestions from members who are more knowledgeable about the subject than I am.

Also, I have a question about offsets. I've read the threads and seen the few diagrams that explained them. My question is, what is the difference between a high offset and a low offset. Perhaps I missed in time and again while reading but that has me a bit confused. I know I probably shouldn't worry about it until I can find a set of rims I like, but I'd like to have a better idea of it. Also, would too low an offset affect the handling capabilities of a FF? I am thinking that, with either too high or too low an offset, the rims would hit the inside of the fenders, preventing the wheels from turning fully. Is this right or am I totally off the mark?
