Easy Street Digital Controler 27600

Ok i have a job to do that i have never installed in my life.. The Easy Street Digital Ride Controler.. 
 
IT dosent look that hard to hook up and everything is straight forward.. I just hope programing isnt to confusing and easy to program.. 
 
Any here ever install this controler and have any tips before I start on it.. 
 
Also can this work with just a front back set up..  I never ever hook up the cars i do to go Side to Side.. just front and back.. becuase no one ever uses the side to side..  am i going to have to add the rest of the valves? I hate to add more parts than is needed becuase = more problems if there is ever any problems..

The controller is really easy to install and program. It's only one CAT5 cable from the ECU in the trunk to the dash. And to program it all you do is get the ride height you want and hold the ride height button for 2 seconds. And you're done.

I'm not sure if you can use it with a front/back setup though.

The Auto Pilot is pretty easy to install, just remember before setting the ride height you will need to run the system through the tuning feature so the ECU will be programed.  All of the tuning and ride height instructions are outlined in the manual, so there are no surprises.
 
You will need to set the system up to do FBSS otherwise the ECU will be confused and will not function properly.

its almost too easy to install. everything is plug and play and the wiring is minimal. if you can wire up a subwoofer, you can install this air management system.

I am assuming that the Easy street is for Yoshi. 

I was told that with regards to a F/B setup that there will be alot of sway or body roll due to the transfer of air from one side to another. And thats not good according to people.

With your experience, is it safe and ok to run a f/b setup.  Initially, I was going to do that on my previa, but people told me not to. Thats why I backed out on the project (due to funds not being there).

Personally I would not run just F/B system because of the body roll.  When you tee a system off from left to right, there is nothing to stop the air from transferring from side to side around corners.  All of our kits are F/B/S/S to ensure the safety of the vehicle.  You may not notice the body roll at lower speeds, but at high speeds it does become a little dangerous, in my opinion.

like going 100mph or like 60mph? will the body roll be to the point that it will tip over?

75-80mph  It wouldn't be enought to roll unless it would be a very sharp curve.   The handling performance is not is good with a F/B system

Ill keep that in mind! But I might endup going with a FBSS system.

idont notice any body roll.. maybe i dont drive fast enough.. 
 
Jerrmy i got the controller powered up.. just have to install the suspension side now thani can tune it.. So far so good.. al teh valve work and comperssors cycle on and off.. all senders working.. 
 
Thanks for the tips.. I hopei can this set up tuned and working..  I think if i get this going here in Hawaii there might be more intrest in this product.. 
 
IMO so far its plug and play just that i had to extend the sender wired becuase i mounted all the senders by the valves and everything is under the van..

marshall did you just chop the sender wires n solder? or did you get an extension harness? im running into the same problem right now! i think my installer is just choppin n extending, i wish i had more time i would have bought a longer harness from easystreet or something.

From his photos I believe that he "Chopped, Soldered, Extended and Shrink Wrapped" the "Sender" Wires.

But he mentioned new ïssues" that he is currently trying to sort out......maybe a "similar" problem amongst those who are using the Easystreet Digital Controller.

What types of problems is everyone having with this Controller?  I have been informed that there are a couple of issues that my Installer is experiencing:

1)  When the "Ride Pre-set" button is pressed the ride does not come up "smoothly" and goes up in "spurts".

2)  When the PSI in the tank is around 130 unable to raise the vehicle.  Have to wait for the Compressor to kick in and bring it back over 130 psi to be able to raise.  But because this is run off the "brain" of the Controller you never really know when the compressors are going to kick in.

This is my daily........so it is pretty important that I have the option to raise at a moments notice.  I can't have my system only raise when the "Controller" feels like it.  I am hoping that this is an easy fix, maybe the Controller is defective, I really don't know.....but any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

did you get your controller working.. i just cut and soldered one wire at a time.  how many gal tank and how many comp r u running.. whats in yoshis van is 4 gal. and one viaire 480 comp..

Anyone know how to "Reset" the "Preset" ride height feature?  I followed the instructions and "no deals".

Marshall, sorry I missed your call, I will try to get in touch with you again today.
 
You will need to turn off the sequencing and auto options off to have the car raise smoothly.  To reset the ride height just set your psi to your desired ride height and hold down the ride height button for 3 seconds and it will say ride height set.

no not completely. its a  loooonng project. it should be fully working in prob about another month or so.
im running 2viaair380cc and 5g tank.
so do you like it?

ill let yoshi answer that.. he is the one that has to use it everyday...  installers perspecive.. ill stick to switches.

Thank you for posting, do you have a more detailed directions.  I have tried multiple times using the directions that was sent with the controller and have tried what you said but still have not been able to "override" the original Pre-set.  I know that eight08customs was trying to figure it out for many hours and I was sitting in my ride last night for an hour with no luck.

Also what do you think is causing the "LCD" Screen to go haywire?  Do you think that I have a defective Controller?  Would I be able to "return it for a new one"?

So far other than the Controller issues I am lovin the look and ride quality.  I think that I already found a good pressure which gives me a good stance and a decent ride.  I feel that one compressor does a great job.  I only raise it when going up "drive ways for both home and office parking lot".  And Drop it when its parked.  Other than that I just set it "manually" to the ride height that I want and leave it alone.  

Another good thing about 1 compressor......when she dies.....its all good because I still got another one that came with the kit anyways.

I did everything you said but the "ride height" feature is not "resetting".  Weird thing is that it is even saying "ride height set" but regardless.......not happening.  Is there no option to return for a new unit?

one of the best features, is when you take corners, itll inflate bags on the inner side of the turn so that it compensates for the body roll.

shouldn't it inflate the bags on the outer side of the turn?

So I take it you are not experiencing any problems with the Controller.  How did you go about setting the "Ride Height Option"?  I followed the Instructions that came with the Controller as well as followed the steps that was given here.  But unfortunately she does not go to the "Pre-set".  Any help would be very much appreciated.

Can anyone share some insight on what may be cause problems with my Easy Street Digital Controller?  I have received a PM from Jeremy which was a question from him.......I have not yet received any answer or response since.  Hope that there can be some kind of solution.  $500 is pretty steep being that all it is doing right now is show me my psi in each bag.  Did everyone else with this controller just suck it up and take the loss?  Your thoughts and suggestions.

On a brighter side.........I am loving my Air Sus Set up......it is so nice to have the option of not having to scrape my Oil Pan, Headers, and my under carriage in general.  It is everything that I have always wanted.  Once again much props to Eight08customs for his fine workmanship.....she is working Perfect.

hmm im still in the middle of my problems with the controller too. makes me wonder about their quality. waiting to get a new ecu and see how that goes. as of right now i wish i went with the rideproe2. as easy as it looks and sounds easystreet so far hasnt been so easy. i think some things like having a harness that detaches at the ecu and having longer sender wires are a 'duh' thing to have for a 'plug n play' setup.  i had to tear apart some looming and undo some nice tiestrapped wires n etc cause my autopilot crapped out after the install was finished.

You can't really use the saying "you get what you pay for" in this case.  It's not like it was cheap in any means.  Not getting any response from the Easy Street Customer Support don't make me feel any better about this whole purchase either.  Hope their silence isn't saying STBY.
