91 ufc10 celsior build and new Q

the exterior is pretty close to being complete but the interior needs lots of help, so i think that is going to be my starting point.

build will probably be pretty slow since it has to compete with my drift car build, and i need wheels STAT since it came on stock rollers :pat:

this weekend my buddy and i are going to build a kick ass sub enclosure in the trunk, i made a sketch of it in auto cad today in class when i was bored haha

the plan is to make it take up as little amount of room as possible and since it is my dd i also want to be able to just throw everything in the trunk and not worry about it. so the sub will be in the spare wheel well and under a metal mesh, so the amp can breath still

then next thing to do is get some winter tires... im thinking some 17x10s...

then... my list is HUGE but i will not post that since wish lists are not for build threads haha

Those CR kai's look pretty cool. If they were silver it would look even better.

do they still make those wheels, if so where could i find a set?

im pretty sure they still do, work makes them, so you can probably get them from a work dealer?

sub is a kicker S12L5 and the amp is the 400 one (kicker too)

Agreed, the Work wheels looked surprisingly fresh.

yah i like hte Kai's as well it may not be a VIP styled wheel but the fitment looks awesome and still suits the wheel pretty good

so we were cleaning the garage the other day and i found the brain for my 7" alpine screen! so that went in and i have also ordered a portable 2.5" hard drive enclosure that doubles as a media player, so hopefully that comes in in a timely manner

i took the ash tray out and the screen fits in there at an angle pretty nicely, might still make a trim piece around it though just so it is perfectly flush

they do fit! haha... well i guess depends on your definition of fitting is, the rear flares were actually molded with this exact wheel/tire combo

yeah it is a rare optioned jdm mk3 supra.. and those as 12j rims all around haha...

and i do not know what flares are on the celsior... just came with them

oh and the same guy that made my sub enclosure is going to make me a custom wood dash kit for the monitor and a alpine deck i picked up... should be good. i think i will get him to make a spot in it for the 12v plug in and a pop out tray for a cell phone/ipod

Not really digging any of the wheels this car has seen, and the wire mesh looks like scrap. I can appreciate the concept behind using it though. Overheating amps are a PITA! I do like the design of the box and the overall look of the cars exterior

wire mesh is gone, but there is no plexi yet either, cant get the car to the shop with all the snow... we normally do not have this kind of snow

i think with the way we recessed the amp there should be enough circulation that it does not over heat... but i have yet to have the chance since we never got around to the deck install yet

and wheels are a tricky thing... i think with a bigger spacer for the front and a little camber adjustment on the rear and it will look better, still kinda off though since there is about 4x more dish in the rear haha

finally got a few things done i have wanted to, was 8*C today so yeah could finally get to work on the car haha

fixed the front bumper and wet sanded that smoked crap off the tail lights
