Went junkyard diving today

I was bored so my friend and I went Junkyard diving at one of our old spots and i found this optional carphone for UCF10's... Got it for $6! :biggthumpup:  Even though it wont work anymore for calls, i'm going to wire it up so the buttons illuminate at night... shuttup, im a stunner =)

Along with a bunch of dual filament bulb plugs (i can always find a use for them =)), bulbs and fuses that I pocketed:shrug:

Dude. Pull passenger airbag, turn into secret stash box, wire it so when you push STO the air bag lid pops open. Thats baller.

I wish that there was a good junkyard in my area.

That's a pretty cool find!  I found one for my LS in the local junkyard as well.  I am going to figure something out to do with it-

HAHHAAH it's a J yard, they rip you off, you take stuff in your pockets, it's a trade-off. 

I've got volvo turbo gauges sitting in my room. Why? because it's a turbo gauge, that goes from black(vacuum) to yellow (boosting) to red (your engine is blowed) Also an oil pressure gauge that reads in Bar LOL. Bored and searching for treasures...I should go there again this weekend lol.

Hahaha seriously! Back when I had my 240, I was bored one day and went to the yard. Ended up paying a hundred bucks for Z32 front brakes, turned around and sold it for 200-250. Then came back the next week and picked up Q45 brakes for myself for like 50 bucks =)
 
You never know what youll find there... Pretty sad though when you find photo albums of peoples families in the car, and the car is ripped in half with what appears to be blood stains on the seats :sad:

Yeah....there are some untold stories in those cars.

I found some with bullet holes, some burned out, hellah wrecked.

I've sent like 3 cars there, 2 were wrecked, one the engine blew up. There are some rare cars there sometimes too.
