all the way from australia

hey guys,
whats good? im representing the southern hemisphere, Melbourne, Australia, although my background is greek.
im not too good with intros, but hey ill give it a shot!
pretty much chill dude, the main things that get me going is photography, music and style
i have been studying design for a few years now, but ill be studying photography as off next year.
i am self taught photographer, i like to travel and document the lifes of people overseas
so far ive been to greece (four times), japan (twice), china, thailand (three times) and in two weeks im hitting uo vietnam, laos, cambodia and thailand (again)

i love music, i never will talk bad about any genre, if i dont like it than i dont discriminate, music to me may not be music to you, vise versa yknow?
i listen mainly to jazz fused with hiphop, jazz liberatorz are a prime example and other styles of hiphop too, thats my roots in music, i have been listening to the real deal hiphop since i was a kiddo
i also love funk, soul & jazz although my all time favourite band is rage against the machine so im quite diverse

finally comes style, this plays a role in the clothes i rock, the sneakers gotta match the tshirt if you know what i mean... haha
and what good is a fresh outfit without a sick car, right?
so when it comes to cars, i have been into japanese imports for a while now, my brother is a huge influence, he is heavilly into the australian drift scene, but i dig the bippu style.
cruising is what life is about for me, you have to be comfortable, and just take it slow
at the moment i havnt gotten my self a project car, i am looking into something that is available to buy in aystralia, possiby a mazda 929 or sentia, its affordable here and if done right can look beautiful.

anyway, no more typing ive prbably bored the pants off you all!

im glad to be part of the community, and i cant wait to see how you guys do it, hopefuly soon ill get something up too!

if you want to check out how we do things here check out the blog my brother and i run

Welcome!

There are a couple of members here from Australia, though its a quiet bunch...

I will be back in Sydney next month, ready to start again on my Y32 project...

Anyway sounds like you have a good plan there, i think the 929s are an underrated platform; parts might be hard to find, but since suspension/wheels are the most important parts, you can probably pull it off.

Good luck and enjoy your stay!

welcome man, i am also from Autralia, over in Perth. i guess im one of the quiet ones Dom refers to, but i try to comment where i can. just dont type when i have nothing much to add haha

and as for the comment above, the word 'bippu' is very frowned upon over here. its really just a mispronunciation of the way japanese pronounce VIP and is frowned upon as sort of a term used by the 'wannabe' types i suppose. like trying to sound 'JDM' haha

good luck with your project man, im sure between you and Arch you can build a sick machine and get hold of some nice parts
