how long are tires lasting for everyone?

i got pwnt; my current federal 245/35/19 rears are almost done already, and it's only been since.... august, i think, when i got  a new pair. then again, i'm rolling -7* camber rear. i pulled the wheels off today at the tire shop to get them flipped, but the tech told me the entire sidewall is bubbling (is that even possible?) and recommended that i get new tires. what do you guys think?

also, what has everybody else's experience been?

Mine have lasted about 20-25k so far actually. I'm on 225/35 and 235/35 General Exclaim UHPs with maxed out camber in the rear and a good amount in front. After you lowered it, did you get the front and rear toe set as close to 0 as possible? Camber wears tires, but toe wears it pretty much twice as fast. As for the bubbling, that could happen. Potholes, big bumps, etc. After I flipped my tires around, there were a few bubbles, but until I can get new tires I gotta live with it :shrug:

No idea, I only keep wheels 1 year or 5K miles before I change/sell them.

My tires last 1 year before the cloth/steel mesh starts showing.

man, you guys last a long time (tires, i mean. sorry if that sounds weird). hahaha, the toe's currently set to whatever infiniti recommends as oem; i'll have them look at it to see if it can go any straighter.

I have a pair of Nexen3000 245/35/19 tires with lots of thread left... they were great tires to stretch with and last long for a cheap brand. they go for $120-$130 a tire, if you want them I can hook you up 150 pickup since there just sitting at my shop.

Im rolling on 225/40/18 Micheling Pilot on the front. Their tread wear rating is pretty low but they ride and stretch pretty nice. I flip them every 2-3 months. The average lifespan would be about 5-6 months for the front. The rears have camber but they will last me way longer than 6 months without flipping.

My Wanlis (yes, lol) lasted since July, daily driving at -2.2 ish degrees in the rear.

I switched to a brand called Durun and I am getting twice the treadlife of Hankook Ventus tires so far.  Camber and toe settings being the same for both tires.

just curious, what kind of camber and toe are you guys running?

I had federals that bubbled and had the sidewalls split. Ive been seeing that more with them lately, but before that I never had a problem with them on several other sets of wheels. What is your rear toe set at?

-1* camber 0* toe for the front

-6* camber 0* toe for rear

Dmax is who i use and reccomend

My Falken Fks have lasted me 2 years now and still have good tread.

1-5 months
 
Its a scary feeling getting a blow out on a NY highway because most of our highways dont have shoulder lanes so you need to ride it out on bare rim with sparks flying and hope that the tire doesnt start to come off of the wheel other wise its hard to steer straight.

hahaha, alex, with the camber i'm running, yours should last way longer than mine.

daygo, i had a blowout on the freeway and i had to get them replaced that day, so i don't think i'll be able to take you up on that offer. thanks though!

falken claims that the 285/40/22 on my RRS should last 50k+ miles... but i just replaced them after around 15k miles, and i've already felt the difference on the new ones compared with the 15k used ones... hmmm

^ Maybe they meant like, for zero degree camber and toe.  They probably meant the treads also.  All of us here are riding half on sidewalls.
