any idea who makes this

I might be getting a lip kit for my f50 cima I was curious if anyone knows who makes this and what its made out of.

looks like a wald kit but whatever it is it wont fit on a us spec bumper iirc.

Thats what I was affraid . I think it looks ok but i was pretty sure it wouldn't fit the usdm bumpers and I was curious if anyone knew for sure what kit it was. Also does anyone know what kits i am limited to that will work with the usdm bumpers. I know the impul kit will fit and i think the JP kit will fit. Anyone know what else will def fit?

ok i think i found out its a brave kit and i'm told it will fit the usdm Q  does anyone know for sure or not??? please help me out

Odds are it's for the JDM bumpers and is FRP (fiberglass reinforced plastic).  I've seen the F50 Wald kit molded to the USDM front and rear.  Just like what Y33 owners do.

If you don't mind knockoff just get one and mold it.

I haven't found any lips for the USDM F50.  You can get any kit that has replacement bumpers though like JP, Mode Parfume, K Break, Vlene etc

Does M.Brave even have an F50 kit?

Or were you thinking of another Brave?

I just can't justify paying over $2000 for a kit...

I felt the same at first, but, now that I have found my rims I have realized that I don't like the stock bumpers on my car and some of the kits that are out there look absolutely amazing. and after the bodykit and rims I think I will be able to say I have done enough to be happy with my car and not need to mod any thing more. Well atleast thats what I'm trying to convince myself.

a little off topic but does anyone know the best way to contact any of the japanese companies that make kits and other products for our cars? also is there anyway to translate yahoo auctions japan?

I use Altavista's babelfish to translate.

Why do you need to contact the companies?  Order from one of the many vendors here that can get JDM kits.  PG, Autofashion, Eliteautostyle etc

most of these vendors are on the west coast i live in mass so i don't get to deal with a lot of the vendors as much as I would like but i might go that way. I also thought I could get a better price if i didn't go through a distributor. but i might have to go that way, so we'll see

In most cases, buying a single item from overseas will cost you more than going through a distributor who does container loads.

what distributors do you all have the best experiences with?

Hey hows it going? None of the lip kits will fit the USDM bumpers. Besides the fact that the JDM bumpers are shorter, the center of the front bumper is totally different and will not snap on like it should. The rear JDM bumper also has no exhaust cut out so adding a lip to it will look very odd unless you cut around the exhaust cut out on the lip (so its two pieces instead of one long piece that extends across the rear). 
 
At the end, you may be paying much more then you would expect to if you decide to get a lip kit custom fitted to the USDM bumpers. Just save up for what you really want and call it a day. Those rims that you want and a kit will make the car look like a brand new car. You will love the attention

ok thanks everyone again and agi Im sending you payment this week for the wheels, now back on subject i've got a lil while till i buy a body kit but I do intend to. so with that said. i would like some input on which kits everyone like best on the F50. I like the impul kit, i know its not everyones favorite for my car, but have seen a few others that look good so anyone that has any idea what body kits will definitely fit and what everyone else likes? please chime in. and thanks once again for all the help and helpful info.
