Any write-ups how to install window visors?

I got these window visors for my FY33 sitting at home. I have no idea how these are installed. Any info on how these are mounted? Also i dont have any hardware like clips or anything.

Also does anyone know how a way to restore them? I got the OEM nissan guards but they are like an eggplant color and the chrome trim is completely faded. Im thinking maybe just some clear/smoke paint will do and maybe find like some trim to replace the old faded chrome trim. Any info appreciated.

Trim is faded? Like dull? Hit it with some metal polish.

Color match your visors.

I bought new ones for my F50 and they are dark "eggplant" color. They came new like that. Can't do anything about that. You just use double sided tape. Mine had little tabs that align and support the visors more. I don't know if it is the same for yours. If so, then you have to pull down the rubber window seal to install the tabs. The tabs slide alittle to align the tab to the visors. Important thing is just put the visors up and see where you want them to sit. especially where the front and rear meet you want them to alighn but doesn't neccessarily have to be close to each other. make sure to use alot of 3M double side and clean both surfaces before applying.

I wanted more of a mechanical bond like hardware than a chemical bond. I guess I will give that a try. any idea on the rain gaurd coloring. Whats that stuff they use on taillights and headlights to black them out?

i think ur talking about VST nightshade, or something like that, I might have the wrong initials but you can buy it a lot of auto parts stores. Its basically a transparent or opaque spray paint if you cant find any at your local auto parts store sometimes hobby shops will carry something like it. Also if your any good at photoshop you might want to try matching then to your cars paint sometimes it looks very good. hope this was helpful

oh and ya automotive 3m tape should hold them just fine it held em fine on my other car and truck just take the time to prep where ever your sticking it to use some sandpaper to scuff the surface a little and alcohol cleaning pads to clean it after sanding and before application and you should be fine. Oh and a little tip peel off the very ends on each peice putt it on and make sure you like where it is then hold the visor on with one hand and peel the backing out from between the visor and the car this way you can make sure you have it just where u want and if you need to reposition it do it before peelingall of the 3m backing off.
Hope this helps and I'll try to do a full write up if I do them on my Q but for now I'm dealing with other stuff.rims kit and suspension

VHT Niteshades could darken them. But they'll just be darker and darker eggplant until they're completely black.
