Why does Nissan/Infiniti cars have such uneven arches between front and rear. On the Y33 I noticed the front fender is alot higher then the rear quarter panel. When you drop it evenly the rear starts tucking way before the fronts because of this. My F50 is the same way. Some people seem to like the look of "tucked". I know people have solved this problem by radiusing the quarter panel but thats just alot of work.

2nd gen GS have a really obvious height difference.
I don't like it, but it's not that uncommon at all.
Anyways, I don't think there's any particular logic to it, except maybe they're trying to minimize wheel gap but can't afford to go that low in the front because of the mushy suspension.

i would guess it has to do with turning clearance, which isn't an issue in the rear.
