How to Watch YouTube in CAR

I just Picked up a New Head Unit thats a Monitor/DVD Player.
 
I Trying to Play Music Videos from YouTube inside the car as I attempt to Roll Baller Status.
 
The New Head Unit Supports 
DVD / VCD / CD / MP3 /MPEG4
 
The New Player does not Support
DVD-RAM / CDV / CDG
 
The Options I have for YouTube DownLoads is

wmv / mp4 / mov / avi / mpg / xvid / flv / mp3 / Ipod / Zune
 
Im using a Standard DVD-R to Burn. 
 
The Question is...
1) What should I use to make the Youtube Videos work with the New In car Player???
 
I Tried wmv / mp4 / mp3 burned to a DVD-R and It Didnt Work.
 
What am I Doing Wrong ???
 
Please Help.

Thanks Im Really Just Trying to Burn Videos from Youtube.
 
I have them on my Hard Drive and I Can Download them there in Diffrent Formats from the Link Above the Hard Part is Chosing the Format that Plays on My New Head Unit.

my excelon can work with either..
but it sounds like for yours you need to burn it as a .mpg dvd image or .divx  if its supported(probably not)
dvdrom is the shit! i recommend everyone gets one. i only have 2 dvds one with the load of videos the other with 4.6 gigs of music
i forgot what its like to have a cd visor or anything like that haha.

I still to this day can't get videos to show up on my D3 using my ipod touch :saiyancrunks:
I'm straight though cause it's all for sounds....

When I tried MP3 Before it only had Sound not Video so I will Download the MP3 as Image to HardDrive then Burn to DVD-R

Im Going to Take a Trip to Frys Electronics in Anaheim to get the Correct Answer to Get YouTube Videos to Play in Car.

if theres no sound maybe u might need mpeg4. idk ur deck sounds somewhat confusing. surprised a new deck doesnt support some of those things. before wasting more time burning stuff n wasting dvds id recommend lookin up ur deck on crutchfield.com or a site that has a lot of info n reviews on it. oh sounddomain.com is good too. it should tell u pretty much straight up what works and how.

My Answer is that MPEG4 and MP4 is the Same.
So this Format should Play on my Player on a DVD-R
It would Hold Up to or Over 50 Youtube Videos.
 
 
My Second Option would be 
FLV --> VCD is the Same Format Burned on a CD.
Maybe only 10 Youtube Videos
 
 
My Last Option would be to Buy/ Download a Converter Like 
Nero and Convert the Compressed Files to DVD.

I make DVDs all the time for people and their cars (and parties).  I will make a post about it tomorrow morning.  I have all the necessary software required too. :)

Oh yeah, I have well over 60 gigs worth of music videos so don't jump the gun just yet.  I may be able to help you out :-)

YouTube videos can sometimes be of garbage quality.  I try not to rip videos from there.

I can link you to two websites you can download videos from, but you're going to have to wait until tomorrow. :-)

Since your main concern is YouTube, I use a program called Any DVD Converter Pro to rip their videos.

A program I use to [I]make[/I] DVDs is Convert X to DVD.  The previous prog I used was TMPGEnc.  Let me tell you, ConvertX blows TMPGEnc out the water.

With ConvertX, it doesn't matter what the format is while TMPGEnc requires MPEG [U]ONLY[/U]. So now I can have OGG, MKV, AVI, and MPG files and what have you all in one DVD without having to convert any of them to a specific format!

If for whatever reason you want to convert the file to a certain format then use Any DVD Converter Pro.  If you still have the build process video on your computer, you may skip uploading it to YouTube unless you up'd for the high-quality stream.

When you finish creating the DVD using ConvertX, you will need a program such as Nero to burn the DVD-Video though an option automatically pops up (in ConvertX) when it finishes converting if you want to go ahead and burn the DVD.

Another thing that rules about ConvertX is that you can switch audios (ie: English to Japanese) on the fly assuming you have dual-audio files.

Ram videos has their own server so you don't have to worry about RapidShare or Megaupload.  Solly4life and RGF uses those sites so you are limited to the amount of mb you can download within a certain time.  For S4L, they also give you the option of using a program such as eMule.  This was the first route I used and it takes forever.  Imagine KaZaA but with VERY limited seeders.

I have a MU and RS account so I pretty much have infinite powers like in the PC game, Doom. IDDQD up in this bitch.  Oh yeah, Ram Videos requires a membership to get access to their massive collection.  They have a few pages worth of downloads without a fee though.  You can use their forums, but they're usually RS links.  I also have a membership with Ram Videos. ;-)

Whatever program you need, I probably have it.  Also, if you have DVDs that you want to rip, I have software for that too. Ha.

I can give you a list of videos I have if you want me to make you a DVD unless you just want to have more recent videos on it.  I don't know if I have to be a vender, but I can talk to the mods to see what they want to work with. I have no problem doing this as long as I get compensated for shipping but maybe VSC and I can collaborate on something...unless there are other nerds/losers on this site that also do this.

Oh yeah, one more thing:  some, if not most, of these videos are ripped from TV so there may be times you will see the MTV splash in the corner throughout the video.  S4L usually gets the promos and have the best sound quality.  RM usually has promo videos too.  By promo I mean it just shows the info of the song at the beginning and end.

Word because I was thinking of maybe doing a donation thing for VSC.  Anyway, I saw your post before you edited while I was at work.  ;-) I try not to go over 50 videos because quality would get worse after that.  That just about fills up the DVD anyway.

I also have a back-up copy of Any DVD Converter if you want...

Now Its On My Hard Drive.

All I had to do was Drag and Drop from my Hard Drive.
